MY THOUGHTS

I made this fan-video collage thing strictly because I bloody always think of this freaking song when I see AshuriPhoenix’s avatar sim Andrei wreaking havoc in their posts. ALWAYS. It had to be done. It didn’t even take long to find pictures that matched the lyrics -- that’s how crazy Ashuri’s sim is -- I love it. XD Thanks for making me laugh!

This JUST happened to me with my mouse, so... feels. Thankfully mice are cheap. It’s nice to see you posting again!

Thankfully we have a lot of spares, so I have new one now. Now at least I can drag stuff without fear of my mouse just letting go of it.

One time I played a couple who met at a club, lots of chemistry, next day I sent her to his house to visit. He was out back, and as he came around to the front, "woohoo" was in his queue. No 'hi, how are ya', 'what do I owe the pleasure of this visit', blah blah. Just "woohoo". :o

Lol! That’s not how people are supposed to behave, but the sims just don’t seem to have that concept. I’ve had to set Woohooer so that they can only woohoo every twelve hours. Otherwise all of my couples just wouldn’t stop.

You hadn't failed! Good writing should represent real life situations. And it is common in RL to be misled by one's actions. Simply because most of us are looking from our point of view. In the comments most of us just put ourselves (our own personalities) in her shoes and totally disregarded her character.  And in the next chapter reality bitchslapped us.

I was so happy to read this, thank you. Everything you say makes perfect sense. And in Bunty’s case, I think perhaps that a lot of people were dazzled by her looks as well.

My first time seeing this cute little bird house. Haven’t played the sims 3 in several months. Been wrapped into ts4, which isn’t as detailed as ts3. - sad face 😞

I guess my feeling is that if Roy believed Saoirse enough, he wouldn't have totally believed his mum. Although I suppose that he was still a teenager and even Roy can be self-conscious... also I agree ^^ roy & trust problems w women

I can see how that would be fun! So far I’m enjoying the process of making paintings and only throw objects in my shots to help provide scale. But maybe someday I’ll try to be a bit more creativity in the preview shots. XD

I love seeing your kitties! They're beautiful. ♥ *sends them pets and catnip* Also, Garrus looks huge here! :O Is it just the angle, or did he really grow up to be such a big guy?

I love seeing all the kitties and doggos, too. And really all the animals.

Garrus really is a huge little guy. We’re pretty sure he is at least part Maine Coon, which is a breed known for their size. They can grow up to 35 lbs. Garrus has every physical and personality trait of the breed, right down to the weird muttering. But we’ll never know for sure since he was left abandoned (with a major injury) as a baby in front of our vet’s office. In his last weigh in, he was at 17 lbs, and my husband says he feels like 20 lbs. lately. (he’s really good at weight guessing, so I trust it). He’s 2 years old, and Maine Coons continue to grow until they are around 5.

Biscuit on the other hand, is on the petite side, with little delicate paws. For her it’s like dealing with a ten foot tall toddler, lol.

@ashuriphoenix, (sorry to not copy paste your reply here, just gonna reply to your allegations of illegal cat names) I was actually saddened to learn how many cats and dogs are already named Biscuit. Way too many.  Her name was originally Elektra. She was also abandoned at our vet’s office, not sick or injured, but her previous owner boarded her there while they tried to find a home for her. They eventually stopped paying for the boarding service and the vet couldn’t reach them, so they put her up for adoption. Anyway, we weren’t keen on the name, so we were just calling her ‘tiny teacup’ and ‘busy kitty’, and that kind of morphed into ‘biscuit’ and she respond to that, so the next time we took her to the vet, we officially changed the name on her files there. 

And yes, my vet’s office is always trying to push abandoned cats on us. But we don’t have room for more than 2 here in our little apt.

I was tagged by @ashuriphoenix about a week ago, didn’t have time to do it before now - deal with it ;)

1) Which is your favorite Sims Expansion?

That’s a tough one. I have them all and I think they all add something to the game. But I have to say Seasons, because WEATHER.

2) How long have you been playing sims?

Since June 2009 - which is a lot longer than I would have imagined as I bought the game on a whim.

3) Do you have any favorite simblrs?

Yes. 

4) How would you describe your gameplay?

Fly by the seat of my pants. I never plan anything.

5) What made you want to create a simblr?

I first realized there was a whole sims community on the old official TS3 forums and I was very active there for a few years. I also started a blog on blogspot but then after a while it seemed a lot of people migrated to tumblr, and I didn’t want to be left behind so... Been here since Feb 2014.

6) What is your favorite Sim age?

It’s actually easier for me to pick my least fave Sim age, which is teens and adults. They just don’t excite me that much.

7) Do you use cheats when you play Sims?

Constantly.

8) What is your favorite thing about the Sims?

It relaxes me and brings me comfort like nothing else in my life.

9) What is your least favorite thing about the Sims?

Bugs. But thanks to my gazillion mods it’s hardly noticeable that this game is less than perfect.

10) What expansion pack are you hoping for next?

Honey, that ship has sailed.

11) Do you like to play the Sims in the morning or at night?

Night owl is one of my traits.

12) Do you have a aesthetic for your Sims?

I guess so. I don’t know what that is though. But I know what I like and what I don’t like and I take it from there.

13) What are your favorite Sim names?

Don’t have any per say. I use a baby name site for inspiration.

14) What is your favorite Sim Career?

The culinary career.

15) What is your favorite Sim World?

Small user made worlds.

16) Do you prefer small or large Sim houses?

30x30 is my preferred lot size, so medium-ish I guess.

17) Do you prefer more modern or traditional Sim houses?

I’d say my style is contemporary. 

18) What is your favorite Sims Challenge / Prompt?

I have no interest in challenges, fly by the seat of my pants remember.

19) What Sim emotion would you most often be?

When they go to the winery and taste a really good wine.

20) What is your favorite skill to level up?

Culinary. I like having my Sims read recipes and practice cooking.

21) Describe your favorite Sim.

I always have one or two for each generation.

22) What kind of computer do you play Sims on?

MSI gaming laptop - it’s important to me that I can play this game on max settings.

23) Do you use Mods in your game?

I would not have lasted 10 years without mods.

24) How many hours of Sims do you think you have played?

No clue. But I’ve been playing since 2009, so a lot.

25) What are you planning to do next in the Sims?

Again, fly by the seat of my pants.
