Make dua for your partner in every salah.

Even if you’re not married yet. Pray to Allah to give your future spouse good health, increase their imaan, give them protection, and bless them and you when the time is right.

When you’re in the midst of a storm and you’re wondering where the Almighty is, remember He has not forsaken you. He has not forgotten you. All you need to do is ask. Anchor your hope firmly. And keep asking. This is not a one-off effort. He will respond in His time. Trust Him!

If a person says that he does not make supplication because he relies on the divine decree, he is also erring, because Allah has made du’aa and asking means of attaining His forgiveness, mercy, guidance, support and provision.

If good is decreed for a person he will attain by du’aa what he cannot attain without du’aa. What Allah has decreed and knows with regard to His slaves’ circumstances and destinies is only decreed on the basis of means and decrees will be fulfilled at the appointed times.

There is nothing that happens in this world or in the Hereafter except on the basis of cause and effect; Allah is the Creator of both cause and effect. Disregarding the principle of cause and effect is contrary to reason.

Roosters See Angels

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “If you hear the crowing of the rooster, then ask Allah of His Bounty, for it has seen an angel. And if you hear the braying of a donkey, then seek refuge with Allah from the Shaytaan, for it has seen a devil. [Bukhari]

Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) loves being asked and though we are entirely dependent on him we tend to forget in the busy routine of living to make Duas. Thus, the rooster’s crow can function as a reminder for us to specially ask Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) for His continued favours; and the braying of donkeys and barking of dogs can be our alarm clocks to wake us up to seeking Allah’s protection.

اللهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إلا مَا جَعَلتَهُ سَهْلا وَ أنتَ تَجْعَلُ الحزْنَ إذا شِئْتَ سَهْلا

Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja’altahu sahla, wa ‘anta taj-alul hazna idha shi’ta sahla

“O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will.”

Make this dua for any difficulty you are facing no matter how big or small. May Allah make the difficult easy for you. Amin
