How did Arthur and Francis fall in love

The story is basically after WW1 Arthur and Francis got closer to make sure they were okay after everything. They began to fall in love but didnt confess due to how homosexuality was viewed in England (because Homosexuality in France wasn't bad ever) but later when things got better Oliver beat Francis and got Arthur but now they love each other and now Arthur is the Human Torch of the Fantastic 4
