how do you feel about you or others blowing their noses?

I do not have strong feelings about this! I guess other people might? Mostly I suppose I feel that me blowing my nose sucks because it means I am congested which is pretty miserable, and other people blowing their noses is vastly better than their sniffling endlessly to avoid doing so. ... Also I feel that my teenage sister should start throwing away her kleenex after she blows her nose instead of letting them accumulate into incredibly gross snowdrifts.

how do you feel about cartoons that explain to kids how stuff works?

I was not a big fan as a kid because videos are just about my least favorite learning medium, and I resented things that felt like attempts to sneak Educational Content into Fun. They’re cute and relaxing now, though, as long as they’re well-made. If they’re badly made I end up shouting at the screen about what a terrible explanation they are.

also how do you feel about mnemonics-like-the-kind-that-isn't-words-but-vivid-and-weird-mental-images?

I think mnemonics in general are fun and cool! For the longest time I assumed that the mental-image kind was just, like, the Hollywood version, not something anyone actually did; but eventually I realized I am just super not a visual thinker, and a bunch of things like that which I had assumed were just narrative conventions or turns of phrase are actually things that happen for other people.

also do you know about transactional analysis?

A little bit! My mom is really into it, especially the parent/adult/child models of interactions.

I have not read it but have been linked to it and it looked interesting so it’s on my to-read list!

who is luca??

Luca is one of my bnha babs. He's the second oldest child of the Valentina's, a notorious villain family.

His quirk is called Psyche and it lets him read and manipulate a person's soul to their most extreme emotion, for example anger turns to blinding rage, jealousy to burning envy, worry to crippling fear so on and so forth. It's mostly a support quirk but it fits him since Luca's more behind the scenes business than direct confrontation, unlike his sister. It's weakened against those with strong wills and can be uncontrollable on someone who's extremely emotional.

In terms of personality, he's apathetic and unmotivated in most things. Many people brush him off as stupid because of this, but he's actually quite perceptive and intelligent. Due to a traumatic childhood, he's kind of bored with life and doesn't take it very seriously [to the annoyance of his dads]. He has a deep love for music though, and he also has a secret love for cute things, which he does his best to hide :->
