Hey, guys! It's Case.

In light of the recent ao3 scraping, I have set all of my works (some of which are linked on my masterlist) to only be accessible to registered guests. All but one of my fics was scraped, and while I personally don't have a lot of work on ao3 at the moment, I know a lot of people who have written what is essentially several novels' worth on ao3. I'm heartbroken for all the writers who have had their work stolen for generative AI.

Keep AI out of fandom spaces. Keep AI out of art. Keep AI out of writing.

I'll create a section in my masterlist to include all of my ao3 works. If you prefer to read on ao3, they will be linked there and you can find me @thecasebookoffanfiction (same as here).

For those of you who don't have an ao3 account, please make one! Most of the creators I know and that I have seen on social media are privating all their works to registered users. If you want to keep reading and interacting, please make an account! I know it looks like a long wait and its intimidating, but it will be worth it from here on out.

hello, case. do you have any plans to fix the windows in your room? i know that they were a casualty of one of your… episodes a week or so ago; i do not mind it myself, but sevati complained to me that it’s become so cold in that hallway that she will, quote, “break into your room and fix them myself” if you don’t repair them soon. i had a feeling that you would very much dislike that if she did so, so i thought i’d warn you before her patience wears out.

a strange little dog tugs at your boot laces. it's trying its darndest to lead you somewhere, but it's tiny snarls do nothing but melt your heart. you have a thought that this little creature doesn't exist, but how could it not? it's so gosh darn cute!

it eventually gives up and trots off, returning, with great effort, with a pretty hefty looking back of goodies. it looks at you with a huffy pout before toddling away. you recieved: A Bag of Tricks (and Treats) + 10 - 25 hp (15x) 50% chance gives a random buff

case took a good look at the dog, then the bag of treats, and began to wonder if he’d been isolated a bit too long from human contact.

“thanks?”

he muttered, giving the bag of ‘tricks and treats’ a suspicious glance, and decided to set it aside for later. he might try a few, if they weren’t either poisoned or expired.
