Yep! I've always imagined Em as a ginger, actually!

She's more book smart and less emotionally intelligent, I wouldn't say smarter than Millard but still very smart. She and Abe did date but she quickly broke it off because she knew he was going to be either cheating or would leave her heartbroken. Because she cut it off she doesn't date Jacob and they have more like a platonic-flirting vibe more than anything. She's less fiery and more apathetic, I guess, but she has a shorter temper.

For her lore, nothing much has changed. She still killed her dad, she still ran away, and Miss P still finds her. The Circus treats her slightly better than in canon though, because somehow she can do finance. Before her peculiarity manifested she was insanely smart and could best anyone in mathematics.

But, her and Horace have a more frenemy/sibling vibe. Horace still calls her "Satan" and still says the lines "Jesus Christ on a bike!", "She's followed me to the afterlife! Well played, Satan! Well played!" And "Can you shut it for one time you horrible succubus?!", While she still says all of Ocean's kind of insulting lines. But, in her version of "What The World Needs" she doesn't call Bronwyn/Connie an organ donor, skipping over the line "Do we really need another organ donor?!" (Because I don't think in any au Emma would insult someone to that level).

Emma kind of sees everyone in a kind of warped vision, only seeing their flaws. She also kind of disregards their trauma.

RTC! Emma's thoughts on everyone:

Horace: Too flamboyant, too girly. Needs to man up more.

Millard: Too forgettable, too much of a talker.

Enoch: Basically a future criminal. Teen sex KILLS!

Bronwyn: Too nice, needs to get a backbone!

Jacob: Too quiet, he needs to speak more.

Kinda odd question, but do you know the best way to recover after a psychotic episode when you ended up being a bit of a dick to some people? I have schizoaffective bipolar type

It's always solid advice to just apologize (this doesn't mean that they owe you any forgiveness though).

For me, I struggled the most with trusting others in my episodes and that really hurt my relationships. I tried to explain after the fact that it wasn't because I genuinely didn't trust them- that I felt like everyone was my enemy and out to get me, so I based my behavior on that.

Don't try to explain your actions with your illness, try to explain them with the feelings and thoughts that influenced your behavior.

question, having seen your rtc art and been thinking about it for a while: is hugh the mischa equivalent in your rtc au or is it someone else or is there no mischa? and/or do you have any ideas as to what the other kids would be?

Mischa is actually Enoch in this au! I really love Nischa, and since Horace is Noel I just couldn’t help myself.

Also, Fugh is alive and well, but they did come with the kids to the trip because Claire and Olive needed babysitters (and because Fiona really wanted Hugh to go out so he could be his regular joyful asshole self). In this au I headcanon they don’t really leave the house much, especially the country, but they were convinced after Fiona heard how depressed Hugh was without her and decided he needed to go out for once. The kids go to Uranium (which is in canada) for the Fall Fair because Jacob offhandedly mentioned going there when he was a kid (his parents were opening up some stores in Canada and lo and behold Uranium was the first place to get a SmartAid store. His Dad decided to bring him to the fall fair because he was getting tired of baby Jacob running around everywhere). They die after going onto the Cyclone, and Karnak still exists.

For Mischa being Enoch, I made a few tweaks to his character. He’s still british, but his Mother was ukrainian. He never told anyone though, and they only find out about it when Enoch starts singing Ukrainian in his song.

His mother died in ukraine due to some illness shortly after Enoch was born, so his father moved him and his siblings to some small british town. He learned Ukrainian from textbooks, so he was a bit sloppy before meeting:

I really love her so she still exists in this universe. She’s more mysterious and edgy, because Enoch only mentions her in passing or when he’s opening up. She has most of the same interests as Enoch in dead things and preserving things, but she also loves fashion and fancy things (Hugh heard Enoch talking about her once and he was like “Ohh so a girl version of Horace..”). She’s still ukrainian and she still likes rap though!!

Enoch bonds with her over her taxidermy and preservation of organs, and she introduces him to rap. In his fat chudness he starts rapping 😭

(When Horace finds out about her he’s kind of heartbroken but like in a “Well I’m sad but if he’s happy then it’s alright” way).

Halfway through his second song he realizes that he’s been projecting Horace onto Talia and halfway through the song instead of saying “Talia” he says “Horace” and it shocks EVERYONE.

Also, the reason why I didn’t make Hugh Mischa was because the Nischa kiss still happens in this universe, and I’d rather poke my own two eyes out than make Hugh and Horace KISS.

Emma as Ocean:

She just gives me so many Ocean vibes. If you want some insight on how I changed her lore you can ask!

Bronwyn as Constance:

Again, she just gives me so many Constance vibes. Ask if you want more insight!

(Also another reason why I made Emma as Ocean and Bronwyn as Constance is because I just LOVE Ocean x Connie.)

Jacob as Ricky:

OKAY! I know this is kind of a baffling choice, but Jacob gives me so many Ricky vibes. I headcanon Jacob was a gacha kid and an anime kid, which added to the bullying. Add him simping over cat women? He’s basically Ricky.

Now, Jacob as Ricky isn’t just from personality. I headcanon after the shit Jacob goes through he has to use crutches to help him walk, sometimes a wheelchair (he has chronic pain like an old man). He also becomes Non-Verbal, and talks through text to speech on his phone or by writing on a piece of paper.

I also really like SpaceDolls and InvisibleHollow..
