Idk who to talk to about this but. You might appreciate it:
My favorite bit of Toto lore is the time he told Niki Lauda he was going to break Niki’s lap record at the Nürburging and Niki basically said “Why? What’s the point?That’s so dangerous”. And Toto was all “Isn’t he a racing driver? Is this what happens when you get old? You become boring?”
And then Toto proceeded to crash so severely that he nearly died and had to quit racing.
Hahah I love the story too! you could say that was the beginning of many things for Toto.
