okay, Posei's hair is cold, but i like to imagine that his body has a much lower temperature than humans (because he's the God of the Tides and stuff), but he manages to control it to a more pleasant temperature so he can cling to Ody

I planned to have him colder than humans normally, although his body temperature isn't controlled, he can sometimes get too hot if he's flustered or under the sun for much too long, it's like touching hot leather.

Luckily he doesn't get like that very often, but it can still happen. It's more common when he's under the sun too long, when he's flustered his hair just gets warm

Well, to start with, I've been creative writing forever, starting in grade school with a lovely little story about Starry the Stegosaurus and not understanding the giant red blur in the sky. (Yes, to the shock of all the Fluff princess started by writing angst). My current original work is untitled but started out as a Children's Story and now is somehow a YA Novel and still unfinished.

Then there was Sailor Moon, and the complete injustice of lack of back story for Queen Serenity (the original, Usagi's mom). We needed a back story (ironically, now, looking back, that plot would work for FTWS). I dabbled. Then Xena, and I just didn't like the finale, so I fixed that one. And after a while, it was fine; all was well. Then Jenny Shepard showed up in NCIS, and the back story was rife with fanfic, not to mention the undertone toward the end of the third season. Then the showwriters did something stupid, and I had to fix it. After I got over that and they introduced Hollis Mann, neither Jenny nor I were in favor. Then she died, and I was not having it. I went into FanFic overdrive and fixed it. Then life hit.

I was burned out, depressed, and miserable, and instead of writing job applications, I decided to try and finish Fan Fics because it brought joy.

Along came Farah Dowlin and Saul Silva, and I got absorbed. Did I write anything? No, but I was all in. I binged everything in the fandom and kept watching. Then it got canceled, and so I was like, well, there goes another fandom, but I was rewatching the finale, and I couldn't get Farah's words out of my mind... and by then, Rhaenys was living rent-free, and I just couldn't leave it alone, and Heir of the Dragon was born. Then I went nuts and said well, I can do two fandoms for OTP 2023, and thus, we're here.
