quick question: when readers reblog your work, do you care whether there are tags included or not?

because i reblog everything i read, i usually do not add tags unless they are really good ones i want to come back to, and on my writing account, i just appreciate any reblog in general. as im coming across more reblog accs, im realizing EVERYONE adds tags, so now idk what to do haha

The whole of the first fic basically 😆which is essentially one scene.

What was difficult about it?

I had the idea and no clue whether it would work. Making the conflict between Loki & Steve a weird mix of confrontational, genuine, sexual and awkward.

EDIT: how could I forget.. It was pretty much all dialogue. All character based. So no pressure.

Plus I'd never really written Steve before so I didn't know if it would come across well or people would be like wtf is this shit 🤣 (which they were, but it all worked out)

10. What line are you most proud of from [Clandestined Part One or Two]

You're getting both cos I'm in that kinda mood.

Part One

Silently, you reached up and began to tug the helmet from his head with difficulty, huffs of mock annoyance peppering the air before it came away in your hands.

Part Two:

“You tease me?” he scolded, his broken breaths betraying arousal at the idea “you will regret that.

20. What feedback makes you happiest to hear?

When a fic sparks something in someone else, like @lokischambermaid birthing "Sneeze in your satchel Rogers" which led on to Satchel! Steve and subsequently @xorpsbane being inspired to write. That's amazing to me.

I do enjoy writing a slight twist or a newish approach to something traditionally smutty. When that is noted or someone calls it out, it makes me v happy. ❤️

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

I’m not aware really of when I’m mean to readers, since I kinda write for myself and I don’t wanna be mean to myself. I do feel really bad and nervous when I post an extremely heavy chapter and I know it’s going to resolve soon but not yet. I’m so thankful people have faith in my storytelling and wait to see how it plays out. It’s very empowering to feel that trust and I take it with me in my day to day as well as my fic writing.

When I look at writing advice a common thing I see is to first write an outline. But what if I wanna be suprised?

What if I wanna make 36 Pinterest boards correlating to different chapters and draw the characters for six months, write over 17,000 words of scenes and dialogue, never to be used or put together?

I wrote an outline for my book, but it doesn't feel like mine anymore. Not unless everything is a surprise, I wanna be surprised by my own quick thinking and decisions for story direction and dialogue and character development. That's when it feels like mine.

So my question is, do you use outlines?

Have you ever?

And when did it feel like your book?

Before or after?
