“What, what, what? I can take it!” At first he’s infuriated. He thinks Kuranoma is doubting his abilities, doubting the strength of his quirk, belittling him by treating him like something that needs to be protected. “I am the shield.” And then it hits him. Kei cares about him. That’s why he’s stepping in. 

“Don’t do this,” Tsuyoshi begs, “You’ll get hurt! I can’t get hurt! Don’t do this! Get out of the way!”

Spill it!

Tsuyoshi has murdered tens of people, but only feels remorse for one. He was sent on a job with another thug from the villain group he was previously in, and they accidentally killed the wrong man. The man they killed left behind a few children, and was actually quirkless. Tsuyoshi has never had the guts to contact the children, though he’s thought about it before.
