Marauders And The Arts:

Lily and James both sing in the shower. 

Lily however lies and says she doesn’t.

Sirius writes poetry.

A lot of it is really profound

Sometimes it’s about his hair.

Peter is a really good painter. 

He always paints his friends a picture for holidays.

He does mostly abstract though so instead of painting them he paints something that represents them.

James was deep greens, Lily bright oranges, Sirius starry night blues ect ect

The first time he gave one to James he cried. 

Then he tried to paint something for Peter.

James now sticks to singing in the shower.

Remus can play guitar and ukulele. 

Sometimes when he hears James or Lily singing he’ll start to strum along to it. 

Marlene plays the drums.

When they found out they tried to start a band. Lily and James on vocals, Remus on guitar, Marlene on drums, Sirius could write the songs, and Peter could paint the poster.

That started with Sirius and James bromance and ended with Lily calling James Yoko. 

Now they just make music for fun instead of a career.

When Harry was born Peter painted them his last painting. 

James and Lily hung it above the fireplace.

The last night they were all together Remus picked up his ukulele and started absentmindedly strumming.

Lily smiled started singing one of Sirius’s poems as she rocked Harry in her arms.

James and Sirius joined in and they all sat by the fireplace and smiled at each other.

They were all really creative people. 

Lily sang in the shower

James sang in the shower.

Remus played guitar.

Peter painted.

And Sirius wrote poems. 

Sirius wrote a lot of poems in Azkaban.

He didn’t have anything to write on, but he remembered them.

They were just as vivid in his mind as Lily singing in the shower.
