Matsuri will defend him from anything, including himself (the M-word is “Monster” in case you were wondering). It may not appear very romantic, but he wanted to make sure that Matsuri is ok with them being in a relationship, so he proceeds very cautiously. AU where Gaara is a mailman and Matsuri the owner of a  cake shop :)  (I had this in my mind so long that I had to put it on paper, even if it’s just quick sketches with some color- these were done in like 10min each, sorry if the quality is so bad >w>)  Matsuri slow it down a bit, Gaara isn’t used to handle so much cuteness! :P (Please do not repost)
