Soooo... Loki was a hero or not?
Remember that scene in Thor: Ragnarök, when Hela appears the first time in the movie?
She arrived right after Odin's death to the place where he died.
It made me thinking...
Maybe she somehow followed her father?
Maybe she tought if she find him she will easily arrive in Askgard?
And maybe...
Maybe she would REALLY KILL THOR AND LOKI!!!
But thanks to the Bifröst they are just thrown out of space, letting believed they are dead. When they weren't.
So I think Loki saved everyone. He didn't planned it, but...
IF he wouldn't replace Odin on his throne in Askgard, Hela could kill the princes, him and his brother, Thor, immediately.
IF they are dead, no one could make Ragnarök work the way we saw.
IF Ragnarok wouldn't happen, Hela could destroy every place she wanted, because no one would be able to stop her.
So big thanks to Loki, who made a big trick. And with that trick, he saved everyones life!
HE WAS THE REASON RAGNAROK DIDN'T TURNED OUT TO BE A DISASTER FOR ALL THE ASKGARDIANS! He gave hope for them. He did it unconvencionally, yes, but he was the one, who made it work.
So yeah, in my eyes, Loki is the hidden gem in Ragnarök. The one causing it with leaving Odin die on Earth, but at the same time solving it with send Odin away from Askgard. Give a chance to people to stay alive and find a new home.
So...
LOKI IS UNCONVENTIONALLY MADE HIMSELF A HERO AND I LOVE THE WAY HE DID BECAUSE HE STILL STAYED THE GOD OF MISCHIEF DURING THE WHOLE TIME! THIS IS THE WAY HIS CHARACTER IS SHOWN IN AN ANOTHER ASPECT AND I REALLY MISS IT!
