Our universe modern AU: B. I rarely crave it, but I will always read them if I come across them. They can be great fun.

Fake dating: That's a no for me, I'm afraid. Between an F and an E (why does this scale not have an E?) because it's possible that if I really trust the author I won't immediately backspace. But like. No. I don't like anything like that, any faking or gigantic miscommunications. Idk, it makes me shudder.

I am hitting the hay here shortly, because I haven’t slept much in the last coupla days. But tomorrow I plan on writing til my fingers drop off, so if you like, please leave a reply or an ask or something with what fic you’re hoping will be updated next (or Very Soon even).

Random Rook question!

Does your Rook have cooking skills? And if they do, what is their favorite dish to make?

My current Rook is a self insert run and I haven't developed any other yet so I got shy and fell into the slough of despond sorry

I think it would be fun to lightly rage bait Lucanis with things like breaking pasta. It's also something I would use as a casual threat for Viago ("I'm going to break pasta in front of you," I think, would be a more effective motivator than any threat of bodily harm.)

I'm somewhere between Lace and Bellara, so I'd be able to make a few decent meals like pasta based dishes, but I know what other people like so if I fuck it up I'd just tell them they can decide if they want to share or eat out that night.

Also I think it would be good to have the team eat out like once a week or so. Trying to wrap my head around Thedas calendars.

I've tried making tortillas and crepes and the good thing about fried dough is that even if you fuck it up, it's usually still good to eat. I'm still struggling to figure out the correct flour ratio for the tortillas though, and I really want something to help me thin the crepes out because I can never swish the batter around the pan fast enough. They're too thick.

Also I can, in fact, fuck up pasta.

I don't really have a favorite, but shepherd's pie is relatively easy and filling. I want to try a spin on Thom Kha soup this week. (I often have to just go for it and stop worrying about whether I'm doing it correctly or not, or I'm not going to do it at all.)

Basically: I can help out in the kitchen sometimes, but for the most part I'd be happy to eat out or let Bellara and Lucanis take over.

Also my first step after getting him out of the Ossuary would be to go find an Antivan food cart and bring a bunch of food back. GIVE. BURRITOS.

It wouldn't be as easy to find them in that setting.

My lease is up in June and I don't wanna be here anymore. I'm seriously considering just packing as many things into my car as I can and then driving over. Downside is you have to feed me
