We sat in the channel waiting for someone to grab the rope when Pato cruised past on his ski. I reached to both Russ and Poto asked Russ if he wanted to tow. Pato looked at Russ, not really knowing a lot about Russ and asked ‘are you ready’? Then looked at me going does he know what he’s getting into. Russ without hesitation grabbed his tow board, jumped into the ocean. And the rest is history. There is nothing more captivating than the ocean unloading especially if there's a ocean athlete like big wave grom Russell Bireke there to enhance it. Big Wave Project is a 98 minute narrative.
