Reciprospike A number of aspec identities describing an individual doesn't or rarely feels a given variety of attraction, but can feel it when another individual is actively showing them displays of that attraction.

Reciproromanticspike An arospec identity describing an individual who is normally completely or almost completely aromantic unless another individual is actively demonstrating romantic attraction to them– once that individual is no longer showing them their attraction, they go back to their prior level of aromanticism.

Realized I never posted any of the specific flags for type of attraction for Antau. So here they are, this is the second post of a total of four not counting the main post for Antau. For a snippet of the definition, a little of the original coining post is below:

"In short Antau is an orientation term for anyone who only feels attraction when one knows someone is attracted to oneself first.

Unlike Recipro, Antau is made to also cover any sort of attraction pairing such as one’s partner feeling romantic attraction to oneself, and one’s attraction to one’s partner is alterous. In that case one could use Antaualterous, even though the person in question’s attraction isn’t alterous."

Description:

a nonromantic, nonsexual, nonplatonic, non queerplatonic, non alterous, nonsensual, nonaesthetic type of attraction. (jfc I know thats many words. I just mean it has nothing to do with those things)

an attraction that could involve wanting to know a lot about a person you admire, without any desire to end up in any form of relationship with them (for any reason!)

Does not necessarily mean you're not open to a form of relationship

similar with regular admiration but exceeds it due to a curiosity for someone's life

could behave what a crush conventionally is like to others, but isn't a crush

Does not necessarily involve idolizing or putting someone on a pedestal

not inherently creepy

does not mean you're uncaring towards them

it could come alongside other forms of attraction

Flag concept 1 and Flag concept 2 explanations

White - symbolizes awe, intrigue, and enchantment. also symbolizes distilled/or pure intrigue without any form of interaction/relationship based attraction and independence from other forms of attraction. The white stripe is the attraction shining through the barrier

Black - symbolizes barriers / block from relationships or contact with the person. Black also symbolizes how the white attraction is framed in an A-spec context (black is a color used in most a-spec flags)

Gray - a shadow, represents avoiding unwanted attention.

Anvilromantic

Anvilromantic, also known as forgeromantic or smithromantic, is an aromantic spectrum label, similar to platoniromantic, that can be use to describe an obvious or partially obvious difference in the emotional feelings one obtains alongside platonic and romantic attraction, but it is impossible or difficult to determine which is which.

Made using colors picked from the following blacksmithing image, the Anvilromantic flag has an additional, white stripe at the bottom and an anvil logo to differentiate it from the flag of the European nation of Germany.

How to know if you're Anvilromantic

Can you feel a difference in attraction when you feel attracted to different people, and if so, can you tell which is platonic and which is romantic?

If you said "yes" to the first question and "no" or "sometimes" to the second, then congratulations! You're eligible to use the Anvilromantic label!
