The theory that Kris accidentally killed someone or was present when someone died or something like that is so good in my opinion!

The characters that fit this best would be Dess and Asriel, both have plenty of evidence. But if I had to choose between Dess and Asriel, I'd like Dess to be the victim (and because of that she somehow became the Roaring Knight, It makes more sense to me that she is the Knight)

Not only because I think it would be better for the game's narrative and story, but mainly because it would be *SO FUNNY* to see Asriel living out his hopes and dreams at college, and then he arrives to visit his family and there are a bunch of dark fountains, possibly more Titans, possibly deceased characters (Rudy), characters possibly missing an arm (Kris), and his missing/deceased girlfriend wanted to cause all of this for some reason that almost no one knows, and his mother-in-law was being an accomplice in all of this. And there's a weird smiling cat with a scary guy who looks like a skeleton. And his mother has a new boyfriend and his father is almost homeless. And apparently a lot of objects are real with feelings in another realm (and many of them are very hurt and bitter about being abandoned). Also his friend was being catfished and likes guys and now he is dating the same guy who was catfishing him. Something like this:

I was bored recently and was thinking about how I love the concept of Frisk being the one who fell in 201X and Chara instead fell in 191X, as I really love the Art Nouveau artstyle.

Also, I really love Togore as a concept and the idea of him as the middle child who is the only one who survived in undertale is very interesting to me so I really wanted to draw this, especially as people only really draw deltarune fanart of him rather than undertale

Art analysis under the cut if you’re interested <3 (not all of this is canon ofc)

Asriel

- he is wearing a crown while the other two wear coronets, as he’s the heir to the throne

-Reset star shaped stones in the crown, subtle foreshadowing :)

- He is also wearing purple clothes and epaulettes over his tunic to show his role in the royal family

- He's in shorts: he's still a child

- he is holding a sword, which is a commonly used symbol of royalty and held by either the monarch or the heir to the throne

- the sword also has a flower symbol on the end as a mod to Asgore's trident

- he is surrounded by white lilies, symbols of innocence, death and purity. One of the lilies is only a bud to represent how he didn’t live to adulthood

- The fleur de lis in the background are symbols of royaliy

- he is stood in the throne room/ gardens where he and Chara picked the buttercups

Togore

- There are quills behind him, he is the middle child and so would’ve played the role of royal adviser to his brother if hed lived. He is also holding a book to emphasise this

- There is an iris on the book as well as throughout the rest of the portrait

- There are irises surrounding him, they are both purple (a colour associated with royalty) and represent wisdom (a link to his intended future role)

- The buttons on his shirt are shaped like human and monster souls to show the relationship between the siblings

- He is wearing a coronet with a flower tying to the symbol on Asriel’s sword, and a stone shaped like a monster soul

- There is ivy climbing on the pillars behind him. Ivy is a symbol of everlasting love and strength, as he is the only one of the children to survive.

- He is surrounded by Doric Greek pillars, another symbol of strength showing again how he is the one who survived the tragedy

- He is in the final corridor: all three of them are stood in the final few rooms of the game

- Also final corridor, similar to Sans in the no mercy run he is the final person aside from Asgore left standing

Chara

- The Delta Rune is behind them, showing their link to the prophecy of the Angel

- Instead of three triangles, the Delta Rune has three souls, two monster and one human, to symbolise the relationship between the three siblings

- The sun and Mount Ebbot are behind them, they are a symbol of the surface and freedom to the monsters of the underground. They are also haloed by the sun to emphasise their religious role in the underground

- They have a simple coronet made of gold flowers and leaves, simpler than the other two as they are the youngest child

- There are two monster souls on the columns behind them to show their connection to both monsters and humans through the imagery of the surface

- They're wearing the gowns worn in church, they are a religious figure and perceived in life as the Angel of prophecy

- Buttercups surround them, as a representation of their death by poisoning

- Buttercups also symbolise childhood innocence or childishness, they were the youngest of the Dreemurr children
