hey before you share stuff from sophie labelle, author of assigned male and at URL assignedmale, here is a reminder that she made diaper fetish babyfur art, including fetish art of children actively urinating or defecating into diapers for her own sexual interests, and traced some amount of them off of real children.

any attempts to bring this up were and are met with accusations of

being from kiwifarms

not understanding that her mostly sexual art traced off of real children "does not represent any children"

not understanding why people would know (not believe, know) that someone who self-identifies as a little or participates in ABDL while posting art of kid furries "playfully" getting their diapers changed or pissing themselves is doing it for fetish reasons

taking her out of context, because we are meant to pretend that an embarrassed child furry pissing themselves in a diaper is simply the art someone makes while harmlessly indulging and not active fetishisation of children and what she herself associates with children

kinkshaming (I've written about this already but nobody serious should take kinkshaming seriously as an accusation or concept)

So uhh...about this person Mikaila...

So I saw that Mikaila reblogged a post from this artist that I completely blanked out on remembering who they were as they were talking about a pro LGBTQ+ awareness holiday. The only thing I knew that they're name was Sophie Labelle aka AssignedMale and that they were an artist.

Then I looked up and researched who they were and...

I'm gonna drop the pretenses and say that Sophie is not only a VERY controversial person in the furry community, but has also been very guilty of a BUNCH of disgusting things involving their art. Especially with what they used to reference in their drawings.

I had to crop out the full image of this Facebook post calling out Sophie because I am not stupid enough to showing what they used to reference cause the text says enough and I'm pretty sure Tumblr would nuke my account if I did cause I sure it's against ToS. I dunno if Sophie has ever addressed this post, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had to discuss the allegations even though the evidence is pretty much not in their favor.

I know some people go on a stigma on the whole kink shaming or don't kink shame thing, but the fact the whole diaper fur or whatever you call it is frowned upon in half of the furry community and it's VERY frowned upon outside of the community. Maybe pulling the transphobia card while drawing and defending your kink is honestly not the best thing to do, especially when you assume that everyone is acting in bad faith in you when the evidence is stacked against you. And I usually could fucking care less about kink shaming. And that's from someone like me who's part of the LGBTQ+ community and a strong supporter too.

On a slight but similar tangent, seeing Mikaila do this reminds me of when Frogan saw an article seeing Daniel Larson getting arrested and charged with threatening to bomb the White House and wanting him set free and not knowing he's been in prison for REALLY awful things. Like not doing basic research on a person so they don't end up being a very controversial and widely disliked person.

So yeah, reminded me of that.

I truly wonder how often Mikaila and Lily have defended, followed, or befriended people who are either problematic or are very infamous for the actions or words they have said to garner it. Cause there have been a few examples including Sophie here.

Cause honestly, blindly supporting someone who has a very infamous reputation once or even twice is bad. But when you constantly supported or defended someone who's very infamous, you are gonna get a lot of people questioning you for why you would align yourself with them, especially when you are friends or talk to them a bunch. You are gonna start having people cut ties with you cause some people are not gonna take it lightly anymore.

But seriously, having someone like Sophie involved with you in anyway is not going to make you look good in anyway and it will make things worse and will damage your reputation. Plus, your credibility as well as someone like Mikaila whose an artist and Lily as a content creator on YouTube.

To everyone, always be aware of the people who support you or vice versa that have some kind of big following cause you will never know if they might be liked or disliked as a person and if they are truly good or bad people themselves. Always try to be self-aware about yourselves when it comes to stuff like this.

Don't repeat what Mikaila and Lily do.

Sophie Labelle, the author of the trans comic Assigned Male (@/assignedmale) has admitted to producing diaperfur (diaper fetish for furries) content on her twitter (archive). What she didn’t mention was that she was actually being called out for tracing a photograph of a baby for her babyfur (furry nsfw art featuring children) fetish content that features minor characters on her side twitter (archive of when it was more active).

Labelle is a writer of children’s books and works in community outreach for trans youths. This content would be disturbing from anyone but is doubly concerning from someone who works with children regularly. Labelle has refused to accept any accountability for these actions.

Labelle being trans is not relevant to this issue. I mention this as most discussion of this case so far has occurred in right wing and TERF circles. Transphobes will be blocked.
