#AssistGameStrong passes to @noahhwilson That first one... 😝🤭 He wasn't even looking, and all of a sudden I had passed the ball into his hands 👍 Big men- run to the basket. Notice when your defender turns to locate the ball. That's the best time to accelerate and sprint to the basket. Not only will they have trouble catching up, but you'll be left with a wide open layup. Teammates- be sure to look up for this pass! The lob is useful if you need to get your big man the ball. You're looking to lead your sprinting big man, and keep the ball just high enough out of their defender's reach. Inbound assist to @jopohoyo And one +🏀 My role on this team is much different from previous ones I've played with. I have fewer responsibilities handling the ball, as @mattsantos has a first step on every defender in our league. Of course, my assist numbers have dropped since I'm not facilitating the offense as much. No worries, though- these inbounds plays are my responsibility- and my teammates move well without the ball😊. Assist to @matteo_francisco Matt's one of those energy guys. I can always count on him to run the break- and to hit that "turbo" button the moment he sees me with the ball. He attacks the basket and isn't afraid to hit someone to get a rebound. My favorite thing about Matt? His pick and roll. We've been playing together during lunch pickup games, and we've developed a solid 1-2 game 😊.
