Destiny
Happy 7th anniversary to Assassins Creed Odyssey
He looked so serene and assured, as if he knew destiny was on his side. Gazing at him, Sophie felt her own destiny lock into place. He's mine.
Soman Chainani, from The School for Good and Evil
Love how this is the first thing I see when I search up Withered Bonnie on yt
She moves like a ship in full sail: puffed with purpose.

Thousands Of Times
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways …My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9NIV
People often exclaim, “God isn’t just or fair!” “Why didn’t God heal my _______?” “If God loves me, why didn’t He save my marriage.” “How can a loving God allow child abuse?” “Can God be good and allow evil to happen, or is He powerless to prevent evil?”
These questions fuel the fire of the atheists— cause Christians to compromise their faith— give a false impression of God’s responses to prayers— bring doubt. These all fulfill satan’s purposes
Job suffered troubles— children all killed (Job 1:18-19); thieves stole everything murdering his servants (Job 1:15-17); his own body putrefied with boils (Job 2:7-8); his wife told him to curse God (Job 2:9). He contended his innocence to his supposed friends, expecting God to declare him sinless (Job 2-27).
Truth— God allowed Job’s testing. I don’t like God baiting satan saying, “Have you considered my servant Job?…”Job 1:8. A merciful, loving God would’ve kept these horrors from happening? But Yahweh didn’t do ‘my’ expectations. At the end of God’s testing, He asked Job: “Who is this that obscures My plans with words without knowledge?… “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?…” Job 38:3-4NIV. Yahweh didn’t apologize.
We become Job’s friends whenever we tell anyone: —‘these are the steps to faith. You just didn’t exercise them correctly.’ — to the person whose marriage is destroyed, ‘you didn’t pray enough.’ — to tell the grieving spouse, ‘sorry you didn’t enough faith for healing.’ Truth is— God looks at the complete picture, totally different than what we look at.
A lady acquaintance divorced her drug abusing husband. Between children, working, her schooling, housing, utilities, finances were impossible to manage. She threw herself onto the Lord’s care for absolutely everything. Dead broke, her gas was turned off. Life looked bleak. Her heart’s cry came before the Lord. ‘How could You, Almighty God, fail one totally dependent on You?’ Money arrived the next day— too late to keep the gas on. She paid the gas, but the gas company refused to turn on her water heater. A relative came to help and light the water heater. What he found, saved her and the children’s lives. A bird had somehow died in the water heater’s flue, totally blocking any exhaust. God’s ‘neglect’ was wisdom, protecting them from carbon-monoxide poisoning.
Thousands of times, over the last twenty months, I’ve questioned God. ‘When are You going to deliver us from evil?’ ‘Why have You allowed hatred to rule?’ ‘Aren’t You going to put an end to COVID-19.’ ‘Will You protect us from the jab and planned extermination?’ ‘How much are You going to allow them to get by with?’ Is the day coming soon, when You ride in on Your white horse to rescue us? He says: ‘when are you going to fight the evil in order for Me to help you? Start boycotting?’
Even though I don’t understand any of these things, I’m assured: “All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and those called according to His purposes.” Romans 8:28KJV. In all instances, we must realize— God’s not dead, keep trusting. As long as we're breathing, hope and believe. He doesn’t think like we do. His plan will work out. The alternative? Quit believing. Be positive nothing good will come and receive what’s been believed for. Will we trust God? It’s your choice. You choose.
PRAYER: Papa God in the face of all of the bad in the world, we choose to believe You are good and will do good for us. Help us to trust You to somehow create good out of these evil situations, in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

No power in the universe can rob you of it; none, but yourself, can even diminish it. “Your joy no man takes from you.” What the power, or love, or presence of man can create – the power, or hatred, or absence of man can destroy. But, the joy of the believer has a different origin, and, as no man bestowed it, so no man can take it away. It has God for its author – the living Rock of Ages for its ever-flowing fountain – the Holy Spirit for the golden channel, which it conveys into the heart. Thus, coming from the fountain of joy, it is of immortal origin – and, is far above the reach of mortal enemies. All the sorrows of earth – all the temptations of hell, are vain against this joy. So far from being diminished by what would crush earthly happiness, and reduce the stoutest heart, without Divine grace, to hopeless dejection – it is only realized more fully, amid the raging fury of the hurricane, or the dreary gloom of a starless midnight.
