Hi!!

oh my gosh I loved it so much. Meeting Emma was magical and would have been in any context but the city was so beautiful (and so kind to us, it felt like) and I loved the entire experience of being there: walking around the parks, going to the Met, taking the ferry, visiting Roosevelt Island, even our 2-minute subway ride.

It was everything and I really do miss it.

Had a fever dream we were fighting over the only remaining poetry book at a library. Do you fence? You stabbed me through the heart for the book but I forgive you. If I had a sword I'd likely have done the same thing.

This is excellent and we now need to reenact it. What poetry book was it? I don't fence but I'd love to learn, being left handed would definitely give me an advantage. I've been described as the type to stab as a warning so this is entirely plausible. But you were unarmed! Have I no honour?!

I love Emma!!!! And all iterations of it!!! Favorite book of all time, and the absolute disaster energy of the cast of Emma 2020 was insane. We should find a tiny bonnet for Mademoiselle Pistache! (I get so glad when ppl i like also like the things I like!! It's like validation for my own tastes) (have you watched the BBC mini series?)

Hmm ok so consider this: Emma!au with disaster child Neil as Emma who lives with his reclusive mother, Kevin as Harriet, Matt and Dan as the Westons, Renee as Jane Fairfax and Alison as Frank (bcs I think Alison and Neil could be friendly disasters together, and Alison as like, a cousin of Dan or something instead of her daughter?) Idk I'm really trying to make this work in my head. I think Andrew would be a great Mr Knightley and Neil a wonderful and oblivious Emma. Thoughts?
