My Favorite Things
@asthebirchtreefalls created these lovely snowflakes that fall on Sneezy’s nose and eyelashes...
Candy grams were always a nice gesture, weren’t they? Working with the hospital to get rid of his holiday candy, Tom Clark would sell the candy grams to deliver to Storybrooke’s citizens in the name of charity. That was the deal, of course. He had to deliver them. Putting up the new hire to man the register, Tom had begun the trudge over town with assorted bags of winter-themed candy in a small tray. His car was in the shop, so he’d be hoofing it. The last thing he’d need was snow. Not the princess, an actual snowfall. Being deep in January meant a Maine snowfall was always nipping at their heels, but maybe Jack Frost would be interested in playing nice. He could always bribe him with a little candy... The dwarf had come to a screeching halt when he saw a familiar face. Emma was good friends with her, wasn’t she? He wasn’t sure if Emma had selected the bag of sweets, but the neat writing had detailed “Snowflake Kisses for Elsa”. “Uh... I hope you like candy because I’ve got a candy gram for you.” The joys of discounted Christmas candy in nondescript snowflake stickers! Tom handed out the bag, which was clear, though sported a happy snowman theme and was tied with a white sparkly bow with ribbon curls. There were candy kisses, peppermints, and all sorts of former holiday rejects just waiting to be unwrapped. “I want to say that’s from Emma, but... snowflake kisses seems a little...not like her.”
Hi.
@asthebirchtreefalls liked this post for a starter.
Therapy was a waste of bloody time if you asked him, yet more than once he’d found himself sat in Archie’s office, hands clasped together before himself, fighting with himself. He did find that unloading sometimes was a benefit to him, but he was so untrusting of others that he wasn’t ever quite comfortable doing it.
So, after sitting in silence for 10 minutes, Gold finally opened his mouth to speak, his fingertips rubbing together a little nervously. “Does anyone ever ask how you are, Hopper?” he questioned, choosing to spend his session trying to dig on the Cricket, instead of within himself. Much easier.
// @asthebirchtreefalls asked: “ are you gonna kiss me or not? ” ;;CROWLEY
❝ ----kiss you? ❞ had he missed some hidden social cue? he supposed that he must have, since picking up on any kind of subtle hint had never been a strong point of his. a rosy blush was quickly rising to his cheeks as he wondered if there was still a chance for a kiss. ❝ i uh - i didn’t even realize anything was leading up to a kiss! ❞ fidgeting with the smooth side of his tie, he looked almost bashful. ❝ i’m sorry, i’m not too familiar with uh -- kissing protocol. ❞
semi plotted thing || @asthebirchtreefalls
A shiver fell over her, gooseflesh spread over her forearms as Lucy slipped her arm around the crook of his. Always the polite hostess, Lucy Westenra did not make audible note of his cold state in front of her guests until they were out of earshot. As hostess, she felt it her responsibility to show those that had never experienced the beauty of Westenra Hall’s beautiful gardens with a quant hedge maze just outside of the rose garden.
“If I would have known you were cold, Mister Frost,” Lucy offered, voice as polite and kind as it had been within the warmth of Westenra Hall among her guests, “I would have had your coat fetched in haste. Why! Even know, your hands feel as cold as ice.”
Free to Be Ourselves
@asthebirchtreefalls plotted for an Aziraphale starter
Aziraphale had never really considered himself to be a timid angel, but then he’d never thought of himself as brave either. He was just himself, an angel trying to do his job to the best of his ability. But a lot of things had changed since the apocalypse had been foiled, and now Aziraphale wasn’t exactly sure what to make of anything, let alone himself.
Only one thing was abundantly clear to him. Well, other than that the humans needed to be protected of course. He knew how he felt now about a certain demon, but expressing his feelings, especially these kinds of feelings, was new. So naturally he decided to just go for it.
“Hi Crowley,” he greeted the demon when he walked into the book store. They were having dinner here together at Aziraphale’s suggestion, so it was just the two of them. Maybe he should wait until they’d had something to eat, or gotten some alcohol in them. But of course the minute he saw the demon, he just started rambling on.
“So I’ve been doing a lot of thinking since the world didn’t end, and it seems to me that I was wrong about a lot of things before,” he states. “I mean I always sort of thought good was good and bad was bad but you’ve been showing that’s wrong for centuries, haven’t you? And I always thought that we angels and demons didn’t have the same emotions as humans and I know we aren’t completely like them but maybe we’re more like them than I was lead to believe?”
And he’s probably confusing Crowley. Best to get to the point. “But I’ve been examining my feelings since then and I’ve come to realize that I’ve had feelings for you for awhile. And… well this is going to sound terribly silly after all we’ve been through I suppose but… well I’d very much like to court you. If you’d be amicable to that?”
@asthebirchtreefalls + this could only be Hook
It just-it wasn’t fair. The other guy had used something, a light, maybe magic, maybe just explosive, to blind Hook for a moment, to disarm him and make him stumble back, and Emma hadn’t really thought about it, she had simply run to get in the way and shield him from the unfair attack. And had gotten a slash on her arm, barely saved from the fact that she was much smaller than Hook and the hit had been meant to be a deadly one, and she might have dropped there if a punch hadn’t reached her face, sending her against the railing and forcing her to keep standing in a moment of forced lucidity. So of course her instincts had taken over and pushed her to grab the guy’s face and slam his head on the railing. Twice. She fell down then, head spinning from the punch and from a blood loss that while barely started wasn’t great for an already tired from lack of sleep body. “Are you alright?” she asked Hook with genuine concern, “Is he down?”
