Werewolves prepared themselves for the usual full moon that accompanied a lunar eclipse, which this time will be a total lunar eclipse causing the moon to offer a shade of red, leading to its common name: the blood moon. Researchers usually offered to the media their perspective for the full moon, so supernatural and human beings could be prepared for what’s to come without any surprises.
Although the eclipse would cause werewolves to be unable to transform into their wolf form, the research stated that vampires and concubi could have an extra hunger during the full moon’s peak. Thankfully it’s a morning peak and, expectantly, there’s nothing to worry about. Either way, astorians are always reminded to stay cautious. After all, this is a safe haven.

November 8th. In the morning hours of a mundane Tuesday, astorians and every other person inhabiting Nova Pangaea is presented with the Beaver Moon. This month’s full moon is accompanied by a total lunar eclipse, meaning the moon, sun, and earth stand in a line with our planet in the middle. During Beaver Moon, it’s been known throughout history that werewolves usually present a protective behavior of their own, urging for security during this specific lunar phase. Therefore, it’s advised not to meddle with any packs during this time.
The eclipse happening alongside the Beaver Moon, causes the werewolves to be unable to shift, therefore they’ll feel their inner wolf trying to escape from its cage and being unable to do so; which enhances their frustration during the day during the full moon. For the other species, the particular shade of red that comes along a total lunar eclipse, will cause others to lose control of their own magic or nature. Vampires and Concubi will notice a shift in their hunger as they’ll desire to feed more frequently and urge for more, and witches that aren’t in control of their own magic or tries to use their secondary power, could lose hold of it.
Those who had the werewolf gene, and would, eventually face the transformations during full moon at November 8th, despite the effects of the lunar eclipse, the council still stated Alphas take to necessary precautions to ensure werewolves restrain themselves from being close to anyone other than their own pack - if they were in one, and for the rest of the population to remain vigilant.

1692. A full moon. Despite the presence of humans and hatred, witches gathered in a big ceremony, having every other creature to fight for them, to protect their circle while they performed their spell, words that would change the world for good.
Once the Earth began to shake, scaring even those humans who didn’t believe that the witches could pull this through, a large piece of land surfaced from the depths of the ocean. Nova Pangaea. There it was, their own land.
330 years later, supernatural beings and humans were able to celebrate in unison an important moment in the history of supernaturals. The birth of a land that secured them their chance of existing in safety and peace. Before Samhain, there it was: the Founders Day.
