(it's okay if you answer this one publicly btw) i have a lot of Really Strong Opinions re: the joker's identity and his name and age and everything else, esp when it comes to tdk-verse, so it always makes me really curious what other ppl think of these things? like, do you think he'd share any of it with taylor? or do you think she'd figure it out herself somehow?

I feel like there's a lot of questions here that, normally, I'd love to sink my teeth into and answer in depth, but unfortunately, I feel like I have to keep quiet about certain aspects of the Joker's past, such as his personal relationships, upbringing, etc., because so much of it I do plan to address in future chapters of Burn.

What I can tell you is that the Joker is probably in his mid-to-late thirties in Burn, though, generally speaking, I usually imagine him to be in his late twenties/early thirties.

As for your other questions, he will be sharing some of his past with Taylor--though it'll be up to your own interpretation on whether you believe he's actually telling her the truth or not. And Taylor might figure out little things on her own (I actually have a rather large reveal planned for a future chapter, something she discovers on her own, kinda) but otherwise, he's not an easy man for her to read.

happy to oblige re: your latest post about the apshds series! i've been reading it kind of out of order chronologically because the specific relationship dynamic i'm interested in is rumlow and bucky's, so i've mainly been focusing on those sections of the series, but bud, you have absolutely fucking DELIVERED on that front. i love your rumlow so much. one of my fav parts is when bucky reverts to the child midfight and rum punches the wall but then they have a Real Convo abt Feelings

Writing the two of them was really fun. I hoped so hard that the MCU would deal with Bucky's likely complicated feelings about his captors, but they never really did, so fine, I'll do it myself.

eve i just wanted to say there's an hour left of the day where i am and it's the anniversary of when i finished my rs fic and i still remember what a joy it was to work on with you. i still haven't hit that pinnacle again and i wanted you to know how much it still means to me that you were so helpful and gave me so much self confidence with it and that it remains my favorite thing i've ever written
