oh, I get this so much. I have struggled with all of them but one, especially finding something that hasn't been done before is tricky. the only reason why I don't feel like it was difficult with my goose!reader is bc in my mind she had always been less of an open reader and more of an OC type while I was writing the fic. so maybe that's the trick, to give them very specific traits or something and build from there. I also don't think you can steal something by doing sweetheart! or sweetie! or something similar as long as you write your own things with it and don't literally steal, like some people do. it's not like a reader like that hasn't existed for a long time in many fandoms, not just obx.

Rewatched 'Blindsided' the other day and I LOVE how Astrid says 'I'm more effective blind than other riders who shall remain nameless' and instead of the show humbling her for that perspective it just?? completely validates her??? like by the end of the episode they literally prove that YES Astrid IS more effective blind than the rest of them put together and something about that brings me so much joy 😂😂😂
