OTP: Zutara (surprising absolutely no one), I just. I love them so much. They’re married in my heart it’s fine.BROTP: Honestly, I’m still incredibly salty that we didn’t get more Suki/Katara interactions! We should’ve gotten more Suki in general tbh, the fact that she keeps getting left out of Gaang fanart because people forget she was actually a part of the Gaang is something I largely blame on the show itself because she really got shafted, but getting to see her relationship with Katara independent of her feelings for Sokka would’ve been so good, definite brotp material there.OT3: I don’t really have one? I can usually see my way to ‘they have TWO hands’, but there’s no way I’d want to stick Aang in there, and there’s no one else I can really see as having equal relationships with them to make it a true OT3. However, I’ve read a couple really good Jetkotara fics sooooo like I could definitely be persuaded.NOTP: Kataang--again, surprising no one. I just remain incredibly bitter over the fact that Katara’s canonical ‘endgame’ was with someone she had a maternal relationship with for 90% of the show, and the fact that her feelings went from ‘you kissed me without my consent and i did NOT like it’ to ‘i want to be in a relationship with you’ COMPLETELY off-screen is just... the clearest evidence I can pull up for how Katara was brutally shafted in her own narrative, and it was a harbinger for much worse to come. -glares at the comics and lok-

Ko making her some light food like chicken soap and taking care of her during the night, putting cold towels on her forehead, caressing her stomach,and him pulling her hair back when she throws up and caressing her back aaaah I'M SO WEAK FOR THIS, SO SO WEAK,

ok im in love with the idea of this guy who normally uses his hands to wreck and hunt being absurdly gentle with her. like kou finds her passed out in the study and he’s in the middle of carrying her back to the bedroom when she regains consciousness just enough to realize what he’s doing. he tucks her in, puts a damp towel on her forehead and feverish as she is, she can’t help but notice how incredibly soft he’s being with her. working with him, akane’s in constant contact with him all the time – sometimes physically so. over the years, she’ll notice that his hands have calluses, small scars on his third and fourth knuckle on his right (“knife-throwing accident,” he’ll explain with a small smile) and very nearly dwarfs hers in comparison when their hands are an inch side by side. 

kou doesn’t say a word to her aside from telling her to put her head up or open her mouth a little so he can feed her soup and akane’s much too tired to open her eyes. but she doesn’t need him to say anything. there’s a free bed next door yet she wakes up to find him asleep on a chair next to her, back bent and head laying on her bed just close enough for her to reach out and stroke his hair. that alone should say enough.

Imagine Ko's reaction to sibyl!Akane [angst intensifies]

oh man oh man lmao i would fucking die

i want it to be all out, all bells and whistles and just total cliche drama fodder riddled all over it along w my tears

ok bad context explanation full of holes in order to make this shit work: sibyl’s on their knees, plans a fail safe in case they’re in Serious danger for whatever reason, kasei manipulates akane into being their host (bc more reasons). she refuses - typ akane - until they force her a deal so catch-22 that refusing it would compromise her morals and beliefs way more than accepting it would (idk what the details are here someone more creative than me make this up but i am all in it for martyr!akane). so she goes with it, they wire themselves in her, a chip with enough memory to house sibyl’s core (@my cmsi prof: this can totally happen!!) so that for as long as she lives they can too. at the threat of their destruction they’ll activate in her just long enough for her to defend them or if not, rebuild and start over when worst comes to worst

ok like kou & co. thinks they’re at the last stand ready for whatever shit’s the plot’s gonna throw at them and for a sec it’s all well and good until surprise surprise secret recurring boss is akane

i want it to be like

slow motion reveal, akane’s eyes start glowing all blue and shit and her voice isn’t her voice anymore and kou’s mind can’t compute bc this can’t be happening, this is akane – one of the few people in this miserable planet he genuinely cares about (side-eying the directors – y’all saying they were bigger than romantic love still doesn’t discount the fact that they love each other as canon), and basically the one person he believes is most deserving of a happy ending and lmao she ends up being the one thing standing in the way of everyone else’s haha what an irony

like penultimate standoff: akane pointing her dominator straight at him and kou’s not picking up his gun at all because his mind is warring in denial against every logic and sense telling him to kill her while his instinct is screaming at him that this is still akane even if she’s not. akane instigating a fight and kou’s putting more effort trying to reach out to her than fighting back. she’s almost in it for the kill shot until she hesitates just as she’s about to do it, just enough for him to realize that she can be saved

then closing lines before they’re separated again: “You’re still in there and I swear to you I’m getting you out.” fade out, curtains fall, i end up crying, we wait for the sequel

bc i am terrible with plot making and ca:tws is a great movie)
