😇✨️ Astrological Analysis of Blorbo

Oh, the Astrology of Derek Hale. I had an enlightening convo with @ar795 over on my Fandom blog @hellameyers about the Astrology of Teen Wolf characters. But we never did get to Derek.

In Teen Wolf canon, Derek Hale was born November 7th, 1988. There hasn't been anything in the show to contradict this, like there have been with other characters, so I will go by this as a guide. Since we don't have his birth time, there's some wiggle room for my own interpretation of his natal chart.

I'm going to stick to the main 6 placements here: sun, moon, rising, Mercury, Venus and Mars.

Your sun sign represents your identity, your work ethic, and what drives you. Derek is a Scorpio based on Canon, and this completely works for him. Strong Scorpio placements are known for having intense eyes, which Derek has, including those eyebrows. It's also a very intense and deeply emotional sign with the element of water, which points to emotions. And Scorpios are typically very guarded, extremely private, or careful about expressing themselves openly unless they feel safe, and they implicitly trust the person they share themselves with. They're also very sexual. And can be stubborn when it comes to their beliefs, which makes sense because Scorpio is a Fixed Sign.

Since we don't have a specific birth time, his Moon sign is up for interpretation. Since the moon changes signs every two days, it's possible the sign the moon is in can change in the middle of a day. This is part of why the birth time is important for accuracy. Anyway, Derek, based on the date and the potential moon signs, I've concluded he is a Libra moon. Your moon sign represents your emotions, how you feel deep down. Libra Moons care a great deal about other people. They're a good friend to have. Libra is represented by the scales, so they are about balance, and doing the right thing. They can be charming, intelligent, and funny, but they can also become moody and indecisive. Libra is ruled by Venus, so there is a definite romantic nature to Libra as well.

With no birth time, we cannot calculate a Rising or Ascendant sign, so I've taken the liberty of intuitively picking one for him. The Rising Sign represents how others see us, how we are perceived. I feel as if Derek might have more Scorpio energy than the average bear, and even before we see trauma mold and shape him into the stoic werewolf, we've seen him as the intense, romantic, charming bad boy type while engaging with Paige and Peter as a teenager. Even as an adult, he is seen or perceived as intimidating, alluring, and protective. So I believe he is a Scorpio Rising as well as a Sun.

While I personally see Derek's communication style as more Capricorn, straight-forward, economical, and to the point, the chart suggests his Mercury is in Scorpio. Which to me, just further proves that Derek contains multitudes. He's very deep, he feels things very deeply, but he is incredibly guarded with his speech. He only tells you what he thinks you need to know or what he can trust you with. Which if he doesn't trust you, means he tells you nothing. This falls very well into how his character is portrayed in the show.

His Venus, planet of love and romance, is in Libra. This works for him because with Venus being the ruling planet of Libra, he is very romantic, and falls in love very easily. In Teen Wolf, he has a track record of being easily manipulated by those he loves or cares for. He is blinded by love. He wants to see the best in people that he cares for, and can become a bit wishy-washy, or people pleasing. Which can lead to him missing glaring red flags.

And, his Mars is in Aries. Mars is the ruling planet of Aries. Mars represents passion, energy, action, anger, and sex. With the very heated and outspoken sign of Aries in Mars, he is very vocal about his displeasure, and his anger burns bright. Derek is impulsive, and instinctual. He is quick to anger, but can also be quick to let it go. Passionate, courageous, and aggressive.

I think this perfectly encapsulates the Sourwolf, my sweet angel baby. What do you think?

New Moon in Aries…It’s a time for Fresh Starts in our lives!

Today, (Sunday -11th April) there is a New Moon in Aries – the first sign in the zodiac. This is considered as New Year for the Moon cycle. This is an important event because New Moon, being in Aries – a cardinal/fire sign, gives us the energy and determination to initiate new beginnings, plant new seeds and to undertake actions towards desirable projects and ideas in some areas in our  lives.

If you want to start a new project (career or creative) - launching a new website, starting new business or creative/art/home ventures, now is a perfect time to do so because it will have a long-lasting, resultful effect on your life.

However, in aim to get a fresh start we have to complete, to end up or to close some chapters in some areas in our your lives and to open space to such new ventures. It is a great time to initiate something what you are passion about, to undertake a leadership position, to put your interests in the first place, because Aries represents ‘I’ and ‘me’ rather than others. It is advisable to undertake such actions on the 2/3th day after New Moon Day because the energy is the strongest.  

This Aries New Moon is in conjunction aspect with Chiron (an asteroid, known in astrology as ‘Wounded Healer’), therefore, it is also important to reflect om things that prevent you to move forward, to release all wounds and pains – physical, emotional and psychological (as much as you can) and to proceed to new beginnings in much more healthy way.    

On the other hand, at this very moment (on Sunday 11th), Venus (in Aries) is making a difficult/square aspect with Pluto (in Capricorn) which could bring a tension and challenges during the day, especially, when it comes to relationships. Confrontation and power struggles with authority figures/authorities and bosses could also be the case. Financial difficulties and an emotional disbalance can be experienced, therefore, be careful and don’t take important decisions during the 1st day of the New Moon.  

I hope this info helps you to understand the energy of the first astrological New Moon and to navigate it in the most beneficial way into your life. fate: the winx saga (astrological profiles)

i really like to make analogies of visual things with placements and astrological concepts so that we can better understand how this works.

this time, i brought an astrological analogy with fate: the winx saga, the new netflix series. i've been watching and i noticed in the characters some characteristics that reminded me of certain astrological placements.

i did this based on the personality characteristics of each one, and not on the elements of the powers that each one has. (fire, water, air, etc.).

Aisha - Virgo Sun + Mercury in Aquarius

Aisha was one of the characters that i noticed  at the beginning of the series. she loves to plan, is pragmatic, hates taking unthinkable risks. she is a friend who likes to listen (Aquarius is great at this).

she isn’t very warm (a mixture of Virgo and Aquarius), but she wants to know how she can help, this being a Virgo characteristic, the need to feel useful.

she is observant, methodical, rational, intelligent, and knows how to be sincere when someone around her is doing shit. she is realistic, she loves to have her feet on the ground (and ends up wishing others to do the same). this was evident when she said to Bloom something like: "you need to be more realistic", when she was thinking about her parents after she found out she was switched.

finally, Aisha is the one who least expresses her problems even though she can't hide her difficulties with controlling her magic (this is Aquarius, agitated mind who wants to deal with everything alone, and Virgo, who doesn't like to show her problems). she probably has a stirring in her mind.

Musa - Pisces Sun + Lilith in Pisces

Musa is an empath. a gift that can sometimes be very difficult to deal with due to the extreme sensitivity she has. when empaths don't recognize themselves as such or when they don't take care of themselves, they tend to become hypersensitive to everything, without having any control over their abilities.

Pisces is the sign of introspection, of observing people, of wanting to isolate oneself to recharge (this resembles the headphones that she uses to try to block so much external sensitivity), to recharge herself, she uses a Pisces characteristic to her favor: art, more precisely, music.

Lilith in Pisces brings us to unique characteristics regarding sensitivity, empathy, feeling emotions as if they were literally palpable and seen by you, not to mention a strong connection with music, almost in an addictive way.

she can tell what people around her are feeling, which allows her to help them, but it also gets in the way when it comes to many emotions (especially bad ones) at the same time. finally, she likes things with mystery, hidden, because she feels that this way she is more secure.

Bloom: Aries Sun + Saturn in Aries

Bloom is an obstinate person, completely stubborn, and has even shown herself to be individualistic (i noticed this when, for example, her friends were in need of her and she noticed, but kept talking and focusing only on herself). she is very strong, but also too impulsive. i can't see it fitting into a sign other than Aries.

Saturn in Aries is a shot in the foot, especially for those who have Aries on their chart. like this placement, she cant control her energy, she has several problems to explain what she feels without feeling weak about it. she hides weaknesses, but deep down she is very afraid of failure and is affected by the opinions of others. but the characteristic that most caught my attention was how she cant control her feelings.

either she can't get any of her magic (fire) out, or she puts it all out and causes problems, even a big fire, like it was in her house. she doesn’t know how to live a balance between one and the other, she always lives on the extremes.

she has a problem with feeling good enough for relationships. on the outside she shows her Aries personality, she seems strong, she doesn't need anyone, obstinate, individualistic, but inside she cares too much about what they think of her, she likes to be alone but not because she believes in herself, but because she can’t create strong bonds.

Terra: Libra Sun + Leo Moon

Terra looks like a born Libra. cute, loving, always likes to have good company, the only problem is her need to adapt to something. the people she meets are rude and not everyone accepts her way of being, but before anyone else, she needs to accept herself. she seeks to please people with gifts and the like because she believes that through flattery she'll have good friendships, good company, and will be accepted by others. she lacks the will and the ability to live alone. she, like Libra, has a great need to belong and please others. which is sometimes fatal because when trying to adapt you lose your individuality.

like Moon in Leo, she tends to be very sensitive to criticism, and that directly touches how valuable and important she feels to the world. she wants to feel important and useful.

just like both Libra and Leo signs, Terra is vain, charming, and, for better or for worse, she is closely linked to the physical body.

Stella: Leo Sun + Venus in Scorpio

Stella is charming, but she cares a lot for appearances, but not only for that: especially for what people are seeing of her value through her flashy and charming armor. she dresses in self-confidence to hide all her weaknesses, when what she lacks most is believing in her potential. she compares a lot to whoever comes her way, and she is very dependent on someone else's approval (from her mother or Sky, for example).

very possessive and vindictive when it comes to love, Stella acts like Venus in Scorpio, who is in exile, and may have a somewhat strange vision or approach to relationships. when i say "strange" i don't mean new, different, but something bad, which can be toxic depending on the native's behavior. in her case, she doesn’t know when to accept that her relationship has ended (a relationship that she herself ended), and takes revenge on anyone who approaches her "ex-boyfriend".

Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius, June 5th 2020🏹🌕

🏹With the moon in Sagittarius and the South Node in Sagittarius, the south node is highlighted. With Neptune in Pisces, things may feel surreal or dream like, and the collective may be experiencing diziness and nausea in the physical body, as well as ludic dreams or vivid dreams, and opening up more to the realm of spirit.

🌕This eclipse will challenge structures, belief systems, and perceptions--we may be opening up to new ways of thinking, and introspecting on our own values and beliefs. 

🏹With the North Node in Gemini, every choice we make is leading to a re-invention of the self. The challenge with these choices is that Neptune is bringing in cloudiness and uncertainty, and we will have to lift the veils of illusion in order to see the truth. 

🌕Truth and expression are huge themes at this time, and the foundations of our beliefs and governances are being shaken--if the foundation was not strong, the structure will topple and fall.
