*They're trying to figure out how to phrase this in a way that conveys what they mean, that they hope he'll listen to.*

"I'm not sure Avery is going to listen to what you have to say right now.."

*They hesitate, knowing what they're about to say, even though it scares them a bit.* "..if you need to hurt someone, I wouldn't mind. If you need to let your anger out on someone, you can do so towards me. I'm still going to be your knight after all." *Can't leave.* "I just don't think any anger going towards those three will help you get what you want." *They're not immortal, like so many others in this place are. They just have to hope that if he agrees to take it out on them, they won't die. Or maybe if it's too much pain, they'd prefer that.*

*A squeak escapes them at the long meowing noise he does*

*They think "Is he.. vibrating like cats do while purring? That is so cute oh my god." before leaning back to breathe some non fur-filled air.*

"I love you like this so much holy shit you're adorable." *That's all they say before closing their eyes as they lean back into his fur while petting him, still doing small vocal stims that sound like squeaks and meows. They could fall asleep like this.*

-🌠 (fun fact, the meowing stim only happens when they're cuddling someone affectionately, the squeaks and squeals happen whenever they vocal stim generally)

[the king deflates like a large balloon, flattening slightly into the floor.]

*The lean back in surprise for a moment when he poofs into fur, but quickly goes back to scritching him. "..fuck it, he's fur now so I have no reason not to." They think, and they bury their face in his fur as they cuddle and scratch him. The smile doesn't leave their face while they do this with all the affection they have. They're basically buried in his fur since they put their full body into cuddling him while petting him*

*One of their hands is still holding the handkerchief to their nose, they remove it for a moment while they speak because they don't want their voice to sound nasally or muffled.*

"I'm fine." *Astrum says instinctively to the first question, and to the other, they assume what she was going to ask.* "..yeah I was kinda just standing here watching, I was going to greet you but, y'know.." *They had heard some of what she was yelling about from watching, so they gained some context at least.*

".. I'm sorry you're back here, when you had just been out. I'm glad to see you though." *They say truthfully. They feel the urge to apologize. Like a lot. They don't know why. Could be due to their anxiety, or maybe they were reminded of things. Things they don't remember.*

*They nod along, gathering information even just from this part. Yeah that definitely explains some things. And that hating not knowing part.. curiosity really is the common denominator between everyone around here huh. That includes themself.*

"Hmm..." *They think about the best ways to gather information about that, since it involves things like merging and infinite knowledge there aren't many options to learn from. A few ideas come to them.* "Why don't you talk to one of the Derlord3s? Y'know, the dude who also merged with the king. Any one of them could be a lot more knowledgeable about this. I could try asking around here a bit, though I don't want to disturb Moea."

"... Maybe if that library is still around I could try looking for some stuff there, since it probably has to have something in there. Unless you'd prefer to go to the library? I was kinda assuming you wouldn't want to go back there but I should ask"
