“Neil Young Heart of Gold”, a 2015 book by #harveykubernik 1) #buffalospringfield - rehearsing at home in Malibu, 1967. “Neil played their debut album to members of #theguesswho at Christmas 1966 when he came back to Winnipeg to visit his mom. The band then cut one of his contributions, “Flying on the Ground is Wrong,” in London in March 1967. Day #3348 Pantera ‎– Cowboys From Hell I Feel like there wasn’t a big enough deal about dimebags death. A fucking fan jumped on stage and shot and killed him and 3 other people with a Baretta!!! A fan!! Seems like there shoulda been some legislation passed in his honor or something. Although he returned two months later, this marked the beginning of the end for #buffalospringfield . “Neil now had confidence building from Jack and Gracia Nitzsche, and myself. Album Number Three Hundred Thirty One. “On Tour with Eric Clapton” is a 1970 album by Delaney & Bonnie with Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Fairfield Halls, England. Released on #atcorecords, it peaked at No. 29 in the U.S. in April 1970, and at No. 39 in the UK, and was certified a gold record by the RIAA. My copy is an ATCO rerelease (but, not sure when that new album label started) - SD 33-326. The album features #delaneyandbonnie’s best-known touring band, including #ericclapton #jimgordon #CarlRadle, #bobbywhitlock and #davemason. Many of the players on this album went on to work with #georgeharrison on his post-Beatles debut album #allthingsmustpass and with Clapton on his solo debut. The horn players #bobbykeys and #JimPrice played on a couple #rollingstones albums. Whitlock, Radle, and Gordon formed with Clapton his band #derekandthedominos for Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs. Nachdem ich 2018 diesen kleinen Kalender gekauft hatte, kam mir die Idee, diesen auch wirklich zu „nutzen“. Was ich dann ab 2019 auch umsetzte. Außer jeden Tag drauf zu schauen, ein Kalenderblatt abzureißen, nahm ich mir vor, das jeweilige Album am gleichen Tag auch zu hören. Gleichzeitig schaue ich nach ob ich das Album in meiner Sammlung habe und wenn es mir gefällt, oder ich tatsächlich „schwerwiegende“ Lücken in meinem Regal entdecke, dann kauf‘ ich das Album nach.
