Album Number Three Hundred Thirty One. “On Tour with Eric Clapton” is a 1970 album by Delaney & Bonnie with Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Fairfield Halls, England. Released on #atcorecords, it peaked at No. 29 in the U.S. in April 1970, and at No. 39 in the UK, and was certified a gold record by the RIAA. My copy is an ATCO rerelease (but, not sure when that new album label started) - SD 33-326. The album features #delaneyandbonnie’s best-known touring band, including #ericclapton #jimgordon #CarlRadle, #bobbywhitlock and #davemason. Many of the players on this album went on to work with #georgeharrison on his post-Beatles debut album #allthingsmustpass and with Clapton on his solo debut. The horn players #bobbykeys and #JimPrice played on a couple #rollingstones albums. Whitlock, Radle, and Gordon formed with Clapton his band #derekandthedominos for Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs.
