A Teen Lookbook Ft. Cassandra Goth

Cue My Chemical Romance’s 2006 smash hit “Teenagers.”

She’s brilliant, she’s a bit gloomy at times, her classmates are scared of her because they think she’s a witch (she likes it that way), she would do anything for her little brother (she’d never admit it), and her very best friend is Yuki Behr...she’s Cassandra Goth!

Holy crap I messed with this for far too long but I’m done, I’m posting it, no more editing it is what it is lol!! The outfits did come together quickly but the editing did not ugh. But I had to stick with it because I really love Cassandra and with the high school pack coming out, I wanted to show her as a teen (even though I personally prefer to play Cass as a young adult in game). A Strangerville Lookbook, pt. 5 Ft. Beckett Roswell

There's a fair amount of gossip and speculation about why the Roswell's only beloved son is estranged. The only detail Strangerville locals can seem to agree on is that he left home as soon as he graduated high school. But the real question is where did he go... and why?

A Strangerville Lookbook, pt. 4 Ft. Tashia Moore

Tashia comes from a big family with even bigger personalities. She has three older siblings (an older brother, older sister, and another older brother - in that order) and loving, supportive, committed parents who were, in her opinion, perfect embodiments of hard work and love. In the recent years she’s been her parent’s main caretaker as they’ve started facing some hardships that come with aging.

Tashia has a culinary degree and even worked in a Michelin star restaurant before moving back home to run her parent’s bar, the 8-Bit Saloon. A lot of people have called her crazy for willingly embracing the slower change in pace, but Tashia always dreamed the family business would one day be hers - she just didn’t expect it would happen so soon. Helping her family is enough reason to come home, but it’s definitely a bonus that she finds the secrets and oddities of her hometown, Strangerville, to be endlessly fascinating... especially in the last year or so. Aside from family and cooking, she also loves all things witchy and occult, volunteering at the community center, listening to audiobooks, watching her favorite YouTubers, and just meeting new people/listening to their experiences (she’s very outgoing).

A Sisters Lookbook Ft. Candy & Yuki Behr

Candy and Yuki were raised by their beloved grandmother for most of their lives (Yuki was a year old and Candy was 8 years old, respectively). After she passed away, Candy became Yuki’s legal guardian and inherited their home in Windenburg. Fortunately, Yuki has always looked up to Candy, so seeing her as a “parental” figure wasn’t going to be that big of an adjustment. Although they were grieving, they were thankful to have each other and grateful that they’d always been extremely close - that made the changes in their life a little easier to tackle. But with loner Yuki starting high school and outgoing Candy trying to balance her DJ ambitions, a dead-end day job, and pseudo-parental responsibilities, their resilience will be put to the test more than ever before.

In my game currently, Yuki is around 14 years old and Candy is around 22. I tried to stay true to their interests and maintain their (differently presented) edgy aesthetic, and in the end I was super happy with how their looks turned out. I really feel like their outgoing DJ vs. loner gamer who both share a love for sarcasm and individuality comes through in both their looks. I’d never played with their household before, but I’ve started playing with them just for fun... so thank you to the anon who asked about Yuki! I hope you all enjoy! ♡

A Mini Everyday Lookbook Ft. Caleb Carter

Caleb is just a dad, in denial that he’s 30, trying his best to be a functioning human being. He’s the black sheep of his family, never going about anything the easy or conventional way. Although he doesn’t have a lot of friends, he does have a 14-year-old daughter who he’s raised on his own pretty much since she was born, and his wife of two-and-a-half years, Nova. Caleb works as a bartender and he does comedy shows for some extra income on his off-nights but is ready for a career that allows him more time with his family. He recently got his GED, but isn’t sure what the next steps are “for a guy who isn’t college material.” But that’s really an unfair assessment of himself, because Caleb is genuinely smart and creative - especially when it comes to subjects like literature, history, and philosophy. Life just hasn’t always been easy or kind to him, and he consistently felt out of place in traditional school where he was always being told to calm down, be quiet, or was outright compared to his overachieving and somewhat condescending twin brother, Cory. All things considered, there’s still a whole lot of life for him to live, but he can’t help but wonder - at one point will it get easier?

I’ve enjoyed sharing tidbits about my OC family lately, so I did this little lookbook just for fun. It’s nothing innovative or impressive but I’m happy with it! I don’t know if I’ll do something like this for all the Carter kids, but I couldn’t help but share a few of Caleb’s outfits because I love him so much and am always looking for an excuse to talk about him.

A Strangerville Lookbook, pt. 3 Ft. Junia Cahill

Junia wasn’t crazy about her dad taking up residence in Strangerville when he crash-landed there about 9 years ago. She was 18 at the time and freshly moved out, so she didn’t feel like it was her place to try and talk him out of it. Plus, after her mother died (she was about 10 at the time), George’ had to make a lot of sacrifices and be the strong one for Junia, all while he was grieving. That led to his life being put on hold, and Junia thought maybe the change of scenery wasn’t the worst thing for his healing process. 

In the years since her mom died, Junia has focused primarily on athletics and keeping up with a rigorous daily workout routine, but her art is a sacred escape that brings her closer to her mother, so she does that privately. Well.... except for that stint in high school where she was tagging around town. She hated school so college was a no-go, but she’s traveled a lot and makes money working as a mechanic, using all the skills she learned from her father growing up. Now, however, she’s moved back to Strangerville to keep an eye on her dad, as she’s worried about his safety with the town’s recent streak of missing people, shady coverups, and politically-charged attacks. Much like her dad, she’s kind of seen as a town pariah and many people would even go as far as to call her unhinged because of a stint at the 8-Bit Saloon a few years back. Needless to say, her return to Strangerville hasn’t gone unnoticed...

Junia is an OC that I created for my Strangerville gameplay story - you can see the original post that features all the characters HERE. I do want to note that in the Strangerville GP George Cahill (her father) is apparently evil? I changed that lol. That’s just... not how I see him. But overall I’m happy with how I translated her from brain to page to game, but my only complaint is that I wish there was more visible definition on her muscles, especially her arms! We need more skin overlays/skin details for buff ladies in the sims 4 cc community.
