I know this is out of context but come on, you can't show me this as the very fist image we have of Suki and ask me to "keep it straight".
ATLA live action trailer is already way better than the Shyamalan movie.
On a more serious note, for the little differences from the original show, I’m actually fine with it. That’s the point of an adaptation, to do some things different from the original while maintaining the same, overall story. That’s part of the reason why HBO “The Last of Us” is both a good adaptation and can stand as its own thing.
Anyways, good start.

No expectations but..
I just watched the Atla netflix trailer and yall can’t tell me that it isn’t the best thing ever. This series is gonna be good wherever you like it or not. (also I cried at least 3 times while watching it)
One of the most interesting things I notice in the ATLA live action trailer is that that is TEO flying around with Aang in Omashu.
Which I honeslty find kinda exciting? It means we're not going to be getting a straight-forwards retelling of the animated show, but instead shuffling things around a bit.
I refuse to get my hopes up, but between this and how good the trailer is in general, I have to say that I'm kinda looking forwards to the live action, and not even in a morbidly curious kinda way.
