"When I was nine, I was diagnosed with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy, a disorder that causes progressive muscle weakness. I’ve probably uploaded a few hundred pictures of inaccessible sidewalks to Atlanta’s 311 app. The city is typically good about responding. Still, we need to be more proactive than reactive."

No not on hair, from the hairshow. --------------------- #bronnerBrothersHairShow was upon us this weekend. #BlackWomen pour $Weavellions of dollars into their hair so I figured what's better than to see that industry in action especially on a sunny day ! As a trade show, many pedestrian #Atlantans never even know the #Hairshow is upon us… Organizers do not do a great job trying to get average Keisha to attend. At $50 per day pass..you gotta love hair That much..wait, they do... Anyway, this year’s show was super well organized compared to years past..great signage everywhere; what you may not know is that- the #HairShow above all is like a 3 day College…lot’s of courses on everything the entrepreneurial type would want. WHY DO I GO: #Brands in action. No other event presents #Brands aimed at a segment of the #black population this way. Tiny mom & pops black brands v giant brands. Everything the #MusicIndustry branding abandoned [including free samples is here] #FUBU. #HairCare #BeautyProducts #HairCare #SkinCare #HairWeave #Makeup #NaturalHair #barber #HairStylist #Locs #HairGel #Hairspray #BlackHair @kirkproductsdesign
