Anxiety culture is wondering why you feel wary of everyone and never expect kindness from strangers, only to remember you have an anxiety disorder.
Unfortunately that’s quite common thing to feel with a disorder like anxiety. I’m guilty of feeling that too. Anxiety is a road I hope we can all make it through together (no matter how cringy that sounds) <3

happy late STS! what is your main OCs fondest childhood memory?
Happy late STS, human!
This time, I’m answering for Infinity.
Jordan has faint impressions of arms wrapped around him. His face is buried in someone’s shoulder. It’s awfully soft. A chill hangs in the air. He burrows a little bit more. Low hums echo in the memory, melodic and calm. But it isn’t distinct. Not anymore. It probably won’t ever be. Grey blurs the memory, and white lines pull at the few things he can remember. Jordan doesn’t think it was dim. That it was that dark. But there isn’t any colors he can remember, either.
Mikhail can remember a smile. It’s shadowed strangely and broken. Shades at the tops suggesting it’s yellowed and old. Cracked teeth chipping away at some strange angles. It looks painful. But the skin around the mouth is lined with a lot of creases. Mouth open in laughter that echoes strangely. Muted, dull. Almost as though it’s underwater. His viewpoint changes, as his feet stumble forward. And a comfortable weight is slung around his shoulders. An arm.
The memories are strange. Both of them feel disconnected, a strange sense of distortion and brokenness to them. The memories aren’t what they used to be. What they should’ve still been. It feels important, though. Comfortable in ways neither of them are capable of remembering anywhere else. And after so much time being fixated on them, dissecting them, thinking about them, and guarding them, a sense of fondness has blossomed. And renewed determination to avoid losing these, as well, because they’ve already lost so many.
sometimes i feel i experience a mix of being excluded from the rest of the world while also being wary of being let into it.
Don't Lose Your Reward
So be sure not to lose what we have worked for. If you do, you won’t be given your full reward. — 2 John 1:8 | Contemporary English Version (CEV) The Holy Bible, Contemporary English Version Copyright © 1995 by American Bible Society. Cross References: Mark 13:9; 1 Corinthians 3:8; Hebrews 10:35

Note: In 2 John 1:8, the apostle John urges believers to "watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward." This verse emphasizes the importance of guarding against false teachings and maintaining a steadfast faith, as compromise can lead to a loss of spiritual rewards, though not salvation. It highlights the need for continuous self-examination and a commitment to the truth of the Gospel.
