@firebyfire okay the reason I’m not furuya’s biggest fan is because I don’t think that he supports sawamura as much as sawamura supports him and for a long time I didn’t think he appreciated sawamura’s encouragement and rivalry that helped him get better as sawamura was getting better. now ) think he’s getting better about it and if im being honest i understand that they’re high schoolers who probably don’t think about others that much 

but it still just really grinds my gears that on top of the fact that for a long time furuya didn’t seem to appreciate sawamura, he was also given preferential treatment when it didn’t appear that he was working as hard as sawamura was. he was just seen as better because he used power to shut people out over actual technique. 

but @atxstnic that leads into your point! if this is just a learning opportunity then it’s assumed he’s going to learn that about being behind sawamura for once. my personal hope is that he learns how much it can hurt to cheer on the person who’s in the spot that you desperately want, and that he appreciates sawamura more for all the encouragement he’s given him. 

what I don’t like about that is that that consideration was never given to sawamura. it was kind of assumed that sawamura was always going to be behind furuya since he didn’t have the same kind of raw power going for him. sawamura was never behind because he was learning about being behind. he was behind because everyone thought furuya was better than him, and for once I would like it to just be stated outright that sawamura is playing better than him right now and that’s why he’s the ace. 

@horns-of-mischief yeah I did say that I thought that would probably happen in the original reply but that’s not really the point. the point is that by doing it in a flashback it takes some of the magic away from the moment. it’s not as special and exciting because they’ll be things that have already happened, rather than something that they’re saying right now and we get to live it with sawamura. i just think the way the reveal went about was a cheap way to make us look into the team like an outsider and up to the point we’ve lived every moment as a triumph with sawamura so why would this be the one moment that we didn’t get to live with him when it’s the most important one??? it just really sucks.

After watching the anime, I went back to read the manga of Act I. Unfortunately a translation of last 11 chapters are missing from the two websites I found. Do you know where I might find them?

Hello. please refer to this post masterlist. There are still missing chapters though but the last 11 chapters of daiya manga (403 to 411) have been animated. Chap 403 starts with episode 49 of second season. I hope this helps.

I think it’s going to be ok. The tornado watch has been canceled, but we’re still under the flash flood warning. It’s rained pretty hard for quite awhile.
