An AU of an AU, where a Demon scorned becomes a Destroying Angel
-----
Jeanette's blood boiled.
How dare they - how dare they speak the words that came out of their soft, sneering mouths? Words that brought condemnation down on the head of one she'd come to see as a father - and beyond that, all those she'd grown to love.
Xal and Nai. Egiri and Nigatu. Ayza and Tyran.
And Khyl. At the pinnacle of them all, Khyl - who had saved her, had sheltered her, who had provided for and taught her and raised her as his own. Who, even now - bloodied and broken and brought to his knees - refused to renounce her.
And these creatures dared to speak to him in this manner?
She seethed.
In the Karneval AUAU continuation after Hirato and Akari kiss, what do you mean by when Hirato said the kitchen staff terrified of Tokitatsu?
Oh, Hirato and Tokitatsu grew up in a home with a kitchen staff. Little Toki-chan was a politician-type, even when he was a teeny little thing. Anyway, he knows that for a house to run smoothly, you have to keep the staff happy. So he practiced keeping the staff happy. The staff absolutely loved him; he would help with things like dusting or gathering up laundry and the like. He was a chatty little thing, and so, he’d learn all about the staff. Their names, their families’ names, the things they liked and didn’t like. Tokitatsu always got the staff cards and small gifts for their birthdays and always asked after their partners, parents, and kids. So, yeah, the staff at their manor absolutely adored him. (They loved little Hirato, too. It’s just teeny Hirato was as quiet and introverted as Toki-chan was chatty. But Hirato was very polite and thoughtful, and he too, never forgot birthdays and families and the like.)
The kitchen staff were terrified of Tokitatsu because Toki-chan decided he was going to “help” the staff one day. That help involved him getting up before everyone else - which was around 4AM - and cooking breakfast, not only for the family, but the staff too. Except he started a fire, which set off the sprinklers, which in turn woke the whole manor. Of course, it was Hirato whose quick thinking with a fire extinguisher helped it from spreading beyond the kitchen. Anyway, it would have been fine if Toki-chan would have left it there. But he didn’t. He would keep trying to help. Everything he cooked was disastrous, but he is so gifted with an eye to detail so everything he cooked looked like it was professionally prepared, so if the kitchen staff didn’t know the chef hadn’t made it, they would serve and sample it. It was awful. A fucking nightmare, really. And Tokitatsu is a little warped, so he actually enjoyed keeping everyone on edge.
So that’s why the kitchen staff were terrified of Tokitatsu.
New fanfic!
It’s an AU!AU that got a little more losleep heavy than intended. I’m doing it in chapters, but it’s already finished so no worries about me leaving you out to dry. Because I’m lazy, I will not be putting it on here, but here is the Ao3 link: https://archiveofourown.org/works/18823144/chapters/44666476
au!au Jongin goes to alternate universes and studies the difference each of them have, the only constant is the same boy he meets in every one.
My far fetched and probably wrong ass theory with china line rn
“The day the red forces purify and twelve forces reunite into one perfect root – A New World Shall Open Up”
This is the last piece of the infamous MAMA opening story. Now, I know (mostly) that Krislutao won’t come back… but I have been thinking about this for a while. They always show their powers in the videos and teasers such as watches in monster, floating toys in sehun’s pathcode, and the lightbulb in Zitao’s pathcode. At that point, Tao had not left yet but felt as if he was being watched in his pathcode. Soon later, a lightbulb breaks along with other items. (The only flaw being the actual windows haha) However I believe that it was Yifan. He was able to create sonic booms and sonic booms can cause glass to break in some cases. Then sehun had an encounter with floating toys at some random white kids’ house but sehun looked as if he were searching for something. This made me think it was luhan but, luhan seems to be aLOT stronger now which caused him to get the fuck outta there. And of course the watch in monster and other countless clocks seen spinning at a fast rate signify Zitao.
I also noticed that yixing had acted a lot differently in the lucky one and monster music videos… he was willing to kill the women in the lab even though he is known as the healer. Also, in monster he is surrounded by dead guards or people I’m not quite sure, but he doesn’t do anything to save them whether they deserve it or not. Now I also noticed the flower that grew in the pathcode for him and the flower he “gave” to the woman in lucky one. They were both white. One looked like a daisy and the other a rose. Both of them symbolically mean innocence and it seems a bit ironic. Especially once the woman dies. As I said before I doubt that Krislutao is coming back but to me it seemed as if they all sorta turned evil in a way before they left. So I kind of expected yixing to disappear whether it be for real reasons or for the story. I was not expecting ‘what u need’ however. And I SURE AS HELL didn’t expect ‘lose control’. Yet, I noticed something significant with the ending of his first video and parts of the second. Yixing had red eyes and it wasn’t normal or like him. Now I know that the song wants about being evil but it sure as hell isn’t innocent. Which was why I thought the flowers were ironic. So when we enter the ‘parallel universe’, I believe (like everyone else) that yixing opened the door. I’d like to believe it is the good yixing that opened the door to tell the others of the communications of the unicode 2641 aka earth. As they warn them of their tainted healer. Therefore. I feel that the universes will come together to help find yixing. Once they do, the good yixing heals or rather “purifies” the red force of evil out of him. Once that happens, they have twice the amount of help to find and save the Krislutao that left and unite them all.
I’m pretty sure this is all shit but I can’t stop thinking about this theory and I know there are flaws in it like “where’s alternate krislutao?” and what not but I kinda like this theory. If anything some one should take this and make au!au *see what I did there* about this. And even though I may not be the only one thinking this, if you read it and do make a au!au about this, id love to read it! @saintksoo @slayeol
From Cocoon Forth a Butterfly (1/?): Purity is a Social Contruct
AO3 mirror
So this is the beginning of that serial I was talking about a while back. The title (which can and will be shortened to From Cocoon when I talk about it because it’s a mouthful) comes from the Emily Dickinson poem of the same name. It is relevant.
This is an AU!AU where what Mabel did in The Last Mabelcorn has a lasting effect on her in the future, post-Transcendence. Aside from ignoring some fanon/canon for the TAU-verse, it pretty well meshes with the actual AU timeline so...
Romance doesn’t play a hard role in this fic, but I am going to sneak in some pretty blatant Henry/Mabel/Paz hints because there’s not enough of that already.
The whole thing is inspired by this post so if you want to spoil the plotline then check it out otherwise, BEWARB!!!
And thank you for reading this. It means a lot to me. :)
"I can't believe you punched a unicorn in the snout!" Dipper laughed as the twins drank Pitt Cola and watched the sunset.
"Just another day in Gravity Falls!" Mabel watched the horizon for any signs of Sev'ral Times. It had been some time since she had last seen them. Also she wondered how they would survive the Oregon winter. If summers in Oregon were cool enough for Mabel to wear sweaters non-stop then winter must be brutal.
Dipper must have noticed her pensive, glossy look because he scootched closer to her on the porch and leaned his head on her shoulder. It was something he hadn't done since they were very little, leaning on his big sis like that. "Penny for your thoughts?"
"You'd spend your entire allowance pretty quick if you did that."
"Well a penny for these thoughts then." Dipper snorted and playfully nudged her with his shoulder. She rested her head on his and sighed.
"That unicorn...it said I wasn't 'pure of heart'. Like, I know that it was just being a butt-face and all...but it really hurt." Mabel took a sip of her Pitt and shook her head. "Why did that hurt so much? I'm the creative one, the cute one, and the spunky one, but why did a comment about my purity bother me?"
Dipper was quiet; the silence stretched forward and even the cicadas halted their song. Just as the bubbling nausea that was rising in Mabel's stomach threatened to spill over, Dipper sat up and spit the pit from his cola out into the yard. "Mabel, look at me."
She met his eyes and he smiled. There was a weariness there, however, that didn't always exist. When did he start to look so worn? "You are a wonderful person, Mabel. You believed me when there was no one else. You backed me up when I thought I was crazy. Heck, you even ruined your own magnum opus just to keep a demon from getting one of the Journals! You are a great person! Who cares what some prissy sword-headed mule thinks? You are Mabel, and you are better than that Princess Celestibellewhatever! Don't ever let anyone tell you differently, kay?"
"Not even you?" She asked, wiping away some tears that had started to bubble over.
"Especially not me," he replied, tussling her hair. She giggled and nodded. "Besides," he added, "What do dumb ol' unicorns know about purity anyway? From what you said, they sounded like they were the worst."
"The absolute worst," she deadpanned. He laughed as well and once again all was well. They continued to watch the sun set, leaning close and simply enjoying each other's company. The cicadas were in full swing again and in the distance one could even hear the quiet cry of a wild boy band. It was a great ending to a not-so-great day.
It was the last calm day of their summer.
