AU: Switcharoo.

What about an AU where the parents divorced when the sextuplets were kids, and they got split up into pairs of threes? The same ones that they got in that divorce ep.

Now, here comes my original twist: The kids somehow end up meeting again in the future (like maybe HS). They hadn't seen each other because the parents are pissed at each other and maybe one moved further away, and only recently came back.

Anyway, the sextuplets are curious about what it's like living with the other parent (and cause they miss them), so they all decide to switch and pretend to be someone else.

Like, Kara or Choro take on the role of Oso, Oso pretends to be one of them, etc, until it ends up where Oso, Totty and Ichi are living with dad and the others are living with mom.

They think it'll be easy, since no one could ever tell them apart, but what they don't count on is how much they've all changed, especially if this is set in the HS age. Of course the one they switched with might have given them a guideline on how to act, but you need more than that to copy someone. Either way, they gotta figure it out and act "right" or else the whole plan blows up and they'll get caught.

The smart thing to do (besides not doing this) would be to keep one brother from the original set with the others (like Totty has to stay with mom), so that they could guide the other two on how to act, but the sextuplets were never known for their brains.

Choromatsu probably suggested this, but was talked over/ignored, and he didn't want to be the one to stay behind, so he kept quiet.

Let's switch! (Switcharoo AU)

Remember my Switcharoo AU? I was thinking about it again and wondered who would switch with who. I think I've got it:

Ichimatsu and Karamatsu switches

Osomatsu switches with Choromatsu. Choromatsu switches with Osomatsu?

Jyushimatsu and Todomatsu switches places.

I tried to pick which switch could result in their current personality: Ichi and Kara is obv because Ichi would want to be alone, but tries to play it off as "taking one for the team" because he's "totally not tired of being popular."

Kara is also a member of the drama club and while Ichi hates being on stage, it teaches him about adopting a mask.

Karamatsu would end up love being in the center of attention and make Ichi even more popular.

I wanted Oso to switch with Choro because I just wanted Oso to be like, "that little shit lied to me. He's not an honor student! He's an idiot!" and then ruin his rep.

Choro I wanted switched with Oso because I needed someone that he would keep his "responsible brother" trait with, and Oso being the eldest is obvious. It's also a call back to the -kun strip where Choro became the eldest after Oso was adopted by a rich family.

Jyushi and Totty were leftovers and kinda hard to image. I guess Jyushi pretending to be the innocent baby of the family would help him ease up on his anger, and let him express his happy side more.

Totty would have trouble blending in, but I think I'll have an event where Totty gets beat up by some rival deliquents who mistake him for Jyushi. Totty runs to his two brothers for comfort, but they're both busy with their new lives and kinda neglect Totty. This results in Totty learning to fend for himself, to not rely on his brothers so much, and slowly become the dry monster that he is.
