i’m a nursing major. english minor. english tutor for a living.

i was trying desperately to find the word “pectoral”. i could not think of it. i said, with my whole chest, in full confidence, “ab boob”. i said ab boob. that doesn’t even make sense, but in that moment, it did to me. to the NURSING MAJOR ENGLISH MINOR ENGLISH TUTOR.

this happened awhile ago but i think about it a lot. i’m so cooked. how am i gonna be a nurse or a professor or even an english tutor when i say things like ab boob when i actually should know the entire pectoral muscle system
