August Writing Schedule

I'll be doing AU August and Trope August for most of these pieces but here we go!

BEACH DAY w/ Marc Spector- This will be connected more to my Hanukkah fic. Posting Date planned for Aug 3rd.

A/B/O DYNAMIC w/ Chris Halliwell- This one is pretty self explanatory and I think will be the most interesting since I have no way to gage how it would work in the Charmed universe. Posting Date planned for Aug 4th.

DOMESTIC FLUFF w/ Baran Al-Hashimi- Posting Date planned for Aug 5th.

5x+1x w/ Brendon Park - I can tell you now this will be Chubby!Reader. Posting Date planned for Aug 7th.

WEREWOLVES w/ Clark Kent - This will be an AU using Delilah from my other fics. Posting Date planned for Aug 8th.

SUGAR BABY w/ Dick Greyson - Posting Date planned for Aug 12th.

THERE'S ONLY ONE BED w/ Flynn Carsen - This will be an AU with Miriam from my 'Crown of Queen Esther' series. Posting Date planned for Aug 14th.

AMNESIA w/ Michael Robinavitch- This will be an AU with Diana from my Omega!Robby fic. It will also be inspired by The Cruel Dark by Bea Northwick. Posting Date planned for Aug 18th.

I have a question regarding your augustrope challenge - what does coda (day 15) mean?

Coda, which can also be called an episode tag, is similar to a missing scene.

It also refers to a scene being added onto the canon storyline. But while a missing scene can be found at any point in the story, coda specifically refers to a scene at the end of an episode. Therefore, it works as an epilogue that the author creates to end the original source material.

This is especially popular when an episode leaves something open at the end and it is not revisited when the next episode continues. So it can also be seen as a missing scene between episodes. Another popular use for it is as speculation for what is going to happen next.

This leads to another difference between missing scenes and coda: missing scenes usually fit right into canon to fill gaps and don’t really change it, while coda comes at the end of an episode and can therefore stray from what is actually happening in the next episodes.

Some fanfic authors specialize in these episode tags and create them for every episode. They tend to stray further from canon with every episode, but they can be a fun companion piece to read after watching each episode and reading the story basically written by someone else.

quick question, for the augustrope thing, does it have to be romantic or can i write platonic stuffz? :P

Nope, there's no specific rule about what you should write, just write anything! All you have to do is implement the trope in your writing
