Yet another beautiful collab piece! Thanks again immortal_artist for coloring another one of my drawings! Absolutely stunning 😍. We all have a soft spot for the Kanesada Brothers, don’t we? (If you haven’t yet, check out immortal_artist’s page!)

I am SO EXCITED for new sword boys! I already love what we’ve seen so far.(Anyone else keep thinking of how much Hanamaru Kasen wanted to wash Yamanbagiri‘s cloak, and how the new character with what looks like stained, and ripped clothing would drive him nuts?) I can’t wait to see what their personalities are like, and their interactions with Mutsunokami, and other swords!(Particularly the Shinsengumi swords of course. The event seems focused in Tosa from what I understand, but I do wonder if the new guys were involved in the Bakumatsu.) I’m also of course hoping this inspires a lot of Mutsunokami/Izuminokami things involving the new characters, and how they, and Mutsu, and Izumi would react to the situation and each other.

Sure, Izuminokami isn’t even at the point of showing in KFV, but what better illustration than Mutsu being overly amused with Izumi’s growing tum? Mutsunokami surely gets very excited every time the baby moves :)
