A few weeks back, I took a break from my current installations serie to embroider a piece for Stitch Fetish 6. It's the second time I'm part of this group show curated by @schindermania - thanks Ellen ! - and I'm thrilled ! This year I choose to declare my love to the wonderful Aunt Ida and her brilliant performer Edith Massey ❤ The opening is this Saturday at The Hive Gallery in L.A and here is a sneak peek of Ida's shoes

Edith Massey - (5/28/1918 – 10/24/1984) I only knew her for a few short time but I was lucky enough to have that little time before she died. I would visit her when I could get over there and though I never asked for her autograph, every time I saw her she would sign something and hand it to me. I still have a bunch of them and a few letters she sent me from when she was in LA. Oh and I did end up finding a few homes for two of her cats before she moved to L.A.
