Hello! I just started following you after finding your deer art in search, I just wanted to say you are my deer drawing god. I have a couple of deer OCS but my anatomy is wack so I only draw them when I'm too exhausted to care (not that I ever post them) , how did you learn to get the bones and muscles right if I may ask? I could use any pointers that you throw my way! I would love to do fanart of your Shrike twins if it's allowed.

Hi and thank you! I’ve been drawing deer for a decade without really paying much attention to muscles and skeletal structure - which I highly recommend you do. My deer often look a little wonky/cartoony because I’ve build up a style for them without proper research as the foundation, but I’ve been working on it lately.DA has some great guides that could help you figure out what you should keep in mind when drawing a deer. They’re all about tall necks and thin legs, long bodies and endless eyelashes. Antlers are another thing entirely, but there’s many tutorials to get started with those too. Do studies, watch videos, use references, sketch loosely and a lot with long strokes. Sorry I can’t give you less universal tips, but I hope your deer OCs give you inspiration to work on your art! (and gift art is always treasured!)

17. Regrets

jon often regrets pulling the stunt that got him fired from his job as a professor. it was his dream job, he loved it! he wishes he could go back to it

jervis has a lot of regrets. he regrets the outbursts that got him fired from Wayne Enterprises, all the impulsive kidnappings, becoming a rogue and ruining any chance hed had at having a normal life again, etc

ed sometimes regrets leaving his life behind to come to gotham and prove his dad wrong. he did have a job already set for him at a locally-owned shop and everything, but he wanted to live in the city and have a big city job and do big city things. he feels like it was selfish of him

19. People they’ve hurt or indirectly killed, and how it affected them

jonathan doesnt care much about hurting people. people get hurt all the time for plenty of stupid reasons, so it shouldn’t matter if he hurts a few in the name of “research” right? most the people hes hurt probably had it coming anyways, in his eyes

jerv tends to lash out a lot… so of course he’s hurt people, he doesn’t like hurting people, it just sort of happens.. and sometimes he wishes it didnt, sometimes he doesnt care, it really depends on the situation and person he’s hurt

ed doesnt like to hurt people that arent tied into his plans. he always picks specific individuals for specific reasons, bystanders getting hurt from a plan gone haywire is something he hates!

20. What-ifs/Alternate Timelines

i could go on and on about aus and “how it couldve happened” n all that, after all i do LOV that stuff n come up with wayy too many concepts along those lines, BUT the first thing to come to mind on this is… losers au

jervis is a gas station clerk since he’d flunked all his college classes and couldnt get the job he wanted. still a very controlling person and he knows it, so he doesnt really maintain any relationships outside of being friendly with coworkers

edwards an amateur programmer that works at gamestop and plays d&d at the library with his small group of friends! also into conspiracy theories and true crime documentaries, since he himself cant investigate crimes currently taking place. 

and jonathan’s a librarian. he got a job there after being fired as a professor, only thing he doesnt like about the job is that group of 20-somethings being loud playing their tabletop rpg……. and of course, he enjoys horror and monsters(of the eldritch variety mainly)

38. Sympathy

jonathan has a hard time feeling sympathy for other people. of course this helps him keep from developing relationships that would get in the way of his rogue lifestyle, but it’s always kept him from developing any sort of relationship in his life. sympathy wasn’t something he’d been shown when he grew up, so he never really felt it himself

jervis, though, is a much too sympathetic person. it didn’t help with him getting bullied growing up, and definitely doesn’t help with him being a rogue now. it’s gotten him captured by the Bat on multiple occasions, and he certainly doesn’t like caring so much, but staff at arkham always tell him it’s perfectly fine and normal

40. Scent

jonathan always seems to smell like chemicals, coffee, smoke, old books, dirt.. not the most pleasant scent, definitely an acquired taste as they’d say

jervis smells like teas, burnt pastries, an amalgamation of drugs, and perfumes you’d expect a fairytale maiden to take a liking to. he usually uses the perfumes to cover any scent he think others may find unsavory!

21. Autumn

scarecrows favorite season is autumn! its not too hot or cold for him, the colors of the leaves and sunsets n such tend to help his costume blend in better, his favorite holiday resides in autumn… and though he’d never admit it, he loves all the pumpkin spice flavored stuff that comes out then!

(bonus hatter hc: jervis makes pumpkin scones every fall, which always seem to end up finding their way to scarecrow!)

Oh man I heard that you’re deep into FFXV Lore especially in Galahdian culture and meanings and I’m dying for any and all that you have is there a master list at all? I’m trying to gather all the knowledge so I can write a couple of characters but I really want to dig in and make sense you know? If there’s any new info hit me up

Yes, that's me, practically drowning in FFXV worldbuilding over here. XD

Sadly, I don't have a master post. Haven't been able to summon up the patience for it yet. (Not like the longer I wait, the more work there's going to be. Not at all. XD)

All of my Galahd worldbuilding is under the tag galahdian culture. If you have a specific question, feel free to drop me another question. Or several. I don't mind at all.
