Kugane, merchant hub of Hingashi a massive city filled to the brim with people from all walks of life. Going about their business as the sun shone down brightly upon them, a home to many.
However it was not home to the blue robed Au Ra that walked the streets of the Kogane Dori Marketplace. Her dark scales identifying her as a xaela, though her skin pale as the moon light marked her as a bit unusual even for them. Her walk was not one of confidence, moving slowly and shrinking away from any group she saw, unsure of how to interact with these people in this alien place.
Yesuntei's home was the Azime Steppe with the nocturnal Kagon Tribe, well it had been her home. For now she had no home exiled as she was from her tribe. Walking in the daylight like a sinner, though she wore a full length robe and wide brimmed hat to hide herself from the sun's light.
Although she had chosen to pursue life instead of wallowing in despair, she still didn't know how she should do that. Her wanderings of the roads along with a boat across the Ruby Sea had slowly but surely led her to Kugane. And she was all alone with no friends or family to help guide the young adult who had only ever known life on the Steppe.
Despite this, she did feel as if she was being drawn somewhere, where that was she didn't know. BUt every since she'd found the crystal. Yesuntei reached into a pouch and pulled a lightning aspected crystal from the leather. Gazing down at it she could still hear the words that'd resonated when she'd first discovered it, or it had discovered her.
Ever since then Yesuntei had felt as if she was being tugged elsewhere, away from the steppe, into Kugane, but she still didn't feel like she belonged. and so she kept moving. She needed to go across the sea.
Despite how unsure she was about how she was going to get through life alone, no money, no tribe, she still felt hopeful. A small part of her wondered if maybe, Nhaama was leading her to a new Home. One where she could once again be a part of a family, that could help her understand how life worked beyond the Steppe.
Home…it had to be across the ocean, in Eorzea.
