27. What are some assumptions others make about your OC? Are any of them true?

1. The first assumption would be that Renoki has no fixed abode and considers home to be wherever he is at any given time.

False - Renoki has a house in Ishgard that he returns to as much as he can. He spent a long time picking the perfect plot of land and decorating his house and garden to make it as homely as can be. It acts as an anchor for him, somewhere safe and familiar to come back to in the midst of the chaos and danger that the Scions are embroiled in. He has a couple of places that he considers his "second home", like the Crystarium and (to a lesser degree) Elpis, but his little house in Ishgard is the place he always comes back to.

2. He became an adventurer for the thrill of it.

Also incorrect, he became an adventurer out of wanting to provide for his sister. He has a privileged background, with his parents both being Sharlayan scholars, and grew up in both Sharlayan (where his father was from) and Ishgard (his mother's birthplace). However, his father went missing and his mother set out to find him, leaving Renoki and his younger sister in the care of a close family friend back in Ishgard. When the family friend died, Renoki and Rhunara were pushed out of the house they'd come to call home and made their way to Tailfeather, where Renoki worked as a chocobo trainer. Wanting to give Rhunara a better life, Renoki set out to Ul'dah and became an adventurer.

3. He's sentimental.

This one is definitely true! Renoki often keeps things around that remind him of certain people or places that hold a lot of meaning for him. He held onto the robes that Hythlodaeus made during his time in Elpis, but dyed them blue to represent the Azem that they knew and the Azem that he is now, as he felt like his time in Elpis was too precious to let go of. Out of respect to Emet-Selch he wears the Azem crystal on a chain around his neck at all times and refuses to ever take it off. His house in Ishgard is home to the chocobo plushie that Rhunara clumsily sewed for him when she was a child, as well as a heavy tome that he records all of his adventures in. He hopes that one day, once they're reunited, he can give her the book, as she always begged him to tell her stories. Lastly, his default armor is his Crystarium armour. He frequently returns to the First so that he can visit Lyna and Ryne.
