SMG4 - Sunset Paradise 5th Anniversary

Today marks 5 years since the release of the first episode of Sunset Paradise a spin off show starring Meggy Spletzer from SMG4 who goes on vacation only to end up facing all sorts of hijinks. The show itself seems to get overlooked and almost never gets acknowledged by Glitch Productions. If your both a fan of SMG4 and Meggy you should really give it a look.

SMG4tober Day 5: Meggy

Meggy's gone through many looks throughout the years, and honestly? She's pretty neat! Doing this day early because tomorrow is most likely WOTFI 2024 (also why I didn't draw Leggy, sorry!).

(Am I hoping for more Auri in the possibly non-existent future? YES. I MISS MY SON /silly.)

goggles - found family shenanigans, "someone's going to die-" "OF FUN", optimist with 0 braincells and pessimist with the braincell, disgruntled jaded older sister/mom and bright eyed positive dumbass little brother/son. (goggles is also canonically speedy so theres that)

Wendy - she's a wa clone and also her entire existence is based on the "FOUND YOU FAKER" meme

army - the inherent tragedy of realising how far you drifted away from what was once your best friend in the whole world to what is essentially a stranger and attempting to rebuild that same closeness with this new person

idk i like shadow a normal amount and applying whatever tf he has going on to meggy who i am 100% normal about (read: this is a lie) is just asking for what is essentially a brain blast

also what if we gave meggy a "maria" who isnt dead like a baby sibling gremlin child that clings onto edgy meggy much to her chagrin - slg

I mean, she doesn't really need A Sonic, just because her situation draws heavy influence from one particular instance in Shadow's life doesn't mean her story has to firmly adhere to his in every possible aspect.

(that freedom also means that we can have all three of those relationships without the limitations of trying to make them fit into Sonic Character-shaped boxes)

that said if she was basically just an alternate Sonic Heroes Shadow, which she's not, the most thematically appropriate pick would probably Mario given the context.

...Also wouldn't that last bit just be what her relationship with Auri is already like in canon but exaggerated by her new personality?
