This is one cool tower. Sheeted in black reflective glass the form oscillates with the changing of floor plates and with occupants opening their windows... Makes for an almost ethereal feel. Big, bold and black. Not sure what it'd be like to live or stay in. But as a form it is attractive. For the building typology (mixed use residential apartments) it is amazing. Balconies have been integrated seamlessly into the form with the use of winter gardens, in order to avoid the ugly tetris blocking typical in large apartment towers. This seems to be a key move in terms of aesthetics. The uses of slightly adjusted floor plates layered a top each other creates a rippling facade that is interesting, understandable but also simple to execute. ... Harry Sidler esque. Quality design makes people want to live here. They achieved this.
