2. Paloma

It’s pretty much a tossup between my top 2 for the FCO. The top half of Paloma’s shot is absolutely fantastic. I’m so impressed that she managed to keep her dreamy expression while tossing her head back and contorting her body while flying through the air (though I feel that hanging onto the wire is off brief). However, her lower half is not as strong since her legs are stiff and spread too far apart. I was bummed to see Paloma go since her performance this week should’ve been enough to spare her (especially over Steph).

1. Jordan

I think that Jordan did the best job of interpreting the Mary Poppins portion of the assignment. Her pose is pretty astounding considering that she was being swung around just as much as everyone else; she worked the umbrella prop and the styling, plus she positioned all of her limbs flawlessly. She really looks weightless and is effortlessly floating down from the heavens to be a nanny for some damn children. However, her face is not up to par with the strength of her body. She connected well with the camera and her gentle expression is nice, but the angle is not the most ideal for her features. Jordan was the best performer overall for me and she delivered one of her strongest shots!

3. Alice

Alice is getting yanked around by the wire/harness and I agree with Alex Perry’s comment about this looking slightly out of control, but I think she did enough to make this work. The silhouette of her body is fantastic and I love the extension of her arms and neck. I like her dramatic and breathless expression, but I’m not sure if the angle is the most flattering for her face and her eyes could be stronger. Overall it’s a decent shot, but it’s not one of Alice’s best showings.

4. Anika

The motion aspect is definitely present in Anika’s photo, but I don’t necessarily like anything she’s doing. She really shortened herself by compacting her body in that way, and she also lost her neck. I can usually count on Anika to bring a strong face, but I see none of her amazing bone structure and her expression is rather lifeless. Anika seemed to do pretty well on set, which makes this shot even more disappointing to me.

5. Steph H.

What the heck is Steph even doing? This photo is a complete disaster. Her limbs are all thrown around haphazardly and she looks super short. She was deathly afraid of heights and I don’t think she covered it well at all; fear is written all over her face. Steph failed both photoshoots this week and has been on a downward spiral for past few episodes. I would’ve chosen to end her journey here, but I knew she’d survive due to Jodhi’s favoritism.
