Another pair of finished socks leftover from 2021 - I was playing yarn chicken on the second sock with the green and as you can probably see, I LOST 🐓 Thankfully I had another skein of yarn in my stash that was very close (just a bit darker) and I used the smallest little bit off of that skein to finish the sock. I’ve also just cast on my first pair of socks for 2022 (see pic 2) for the #LaMercerieYearOfSocks2022 . On Saturday, I realised I didn’t have any projects with plain stockinette that would be appropriate for dark theatre knitting and I had 2 events/shows over Sun & Mon - so I cast on a #MusselburghHat on Saturday and got through the increases, ready for #SixTheMusical on Sunday - this is how much I got done during the show and dinner with friends afterwards! Today we’re going to the Bat Out Of Hell musical, so we’ll see how much I get done there! Advent 2022 Wrap-Up! Two of my advents are shown here, with their 100g Xmas day skeins: @thecornerofcraft D&D Advent @louielolayarns Cozy Country Advent I already have plans for the Cozy Country one - it’s going to become a CatVent Sweater! I’m thinking of making a blanket with the D&D one but haven’t made any solid plans there yet. My @naturalfibrearts advent isn’t shown because there was a packing snafu and I ended up with the wrong colour for the final large skein.
