*UPDATE AS OF SUNDAY* Austin Pets Alive! has been helping shelters in the direct line of Hurricane Harvey. We’ve been working with these shelters to transport as many pets as possible to APA! and as of Saturday morning

I know there’s a lot going on with Hurricane Harvey right now and the Red Cross etc. are doing all they can, but a lot of the evacuees are taking their pets with them, and not all shelters will accept pets. And even if they do, the pets need food,too! Consider donating to this organization and others like it for the pets and their owners, so they they all have one less thing to worry about.
