Ingredients: 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon ground coriander. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes. 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter. 1/4 cup coconut milk. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1 clove garlic, minced. Water, as needed.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, lime juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, garlic powder, and chili flakes. Add chicken strips to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Thread marinated chicken strips onto skewers. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. These Thai green curry pork dumplings are bursting with flavor, thanks to the aromatic green curry paste and creamy coconut sauce. The addition of crispy fried shallots adds a delightful crunch and depth of flavor to this delicious dish. Perfect for a Thai-inspired meal!
Ingredients: 1/2 pound ground pork. 1/4 cup Thai green curry paste. 1/4 cup coconut milk. 1 tablespoon fish sauce. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro. 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions. 1 package dumpling wrappers. 2 cups vegetable oil for frying. 2 shallots, thinly sliced. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour for coating shallots. 1/2 cup water for coating shallots. Lime wedges for garnish.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, Thai green curry paste, coconut milk, fish sauce, sugar, salt, cilantro, and green onions. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the pork mixture in the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold the wrapper in half to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges to seal the dumpling. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or saucepan over medium-high heat to 350F 175C. Fry the sliced shallots until golden and crispy. Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels. In a separate saucepan, bring a pot of water to a boil. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water and cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until they float to the surface. Remove and drain. In a serving dish, combine the cooked dumplings with the coconut sauce. To make the coconut sauce, mix coconut milk with a bit of water until you achieve a desired consistency, then heat it gently. Top the dumplings with crispy fried shallots and garnish with lime wedges. Serve the Thai Green Curry Pork Dumplings in Coconut Sauce with Crispy Fried Shallots hot and enjoy!
